Macy's gets better and better 10/23/2006

The growth of Macy’s (and Federated Department Stores) means a bigger selection of handbags, and many exclusive releases. I love to shop at our local Macy’s, thanks to its regular sales and a different selection than the other department stores. However, I find that shopping on Macys.com means I find the biggest selection with additional perks, such as free shipping and other discounts. The Macy’s selection has grown in recent years. Who can argue with Kenneth Cole, Lucky, Betsey Johnson, BCBG and Ellen Tracey at fair prices? I can’t. It’s usually a splurge to buy a bag here, but I know it’ll be a classic piece I’ll carry for awhile. And with the holiday sales for which Macy’s is famous, I often hold out for the lowest price possible. http://www.macys.com more

Good sales 3/20/2006

Although their everyday prices are very high, Macy's runs some great sales. They have high quality merchandise but the prices are a bit too steep. If you can combine a sale plus one of their discount coupons that appear in the local paper, you can get a good deal on good items. They have some beautiful clothing, especially their business clothing. They also have some stunning frames that always seem to be on sale. These make terriffic gifts! Their return policy is pretty good so don't be afraid to return something if you've changed your mind. more
