Robert Henricksen
Robert Henricksen is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he earned his brown belt in February of 2014. In that time he has had several amateur MMA fights and numerous Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling tournaments. At the age of 28 Robert moved to Las Cruces, NM in 2004, and would travel to El Paso, TX to train in Judo under Sensei Hayashi at Hayashi's Dojo. This is where he was introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, first hand. Now the time has come for Robert to bring his extensive knowledge and experience to the Shenango Valley. Robert is bringing his valuable knowledge, like and martial arts experience to share with the people of this community; to help men and women better their lives, learn about themselves and to help parents raise up children to be strong in discipline and character. Robert knows first-hand the powerful and transformative effect that martial arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in-particular can have in the lives of our children and adults alike.
Zane Henricksen
Zane first started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with his dad, Robert, in 2005. Zane received his purple belt in mid 2014 at the age of 18, and has become one of the top competitors in the area, winning double and triple gold in virtually every competition he does. But even more than the accolades he has received in competition and in the gym, Zane has grown to be a young man of outstanding character and discipline. As a children's martial arts instructor, Zane is compassionate, caring, and gentle but at the same time firm and clear spoken; a combination of characteristics which has inspired his students admiration and respect.
