MC3 Salon & Wellness Center

Took advantage of the groupon for MC3 yesterday. Was really excited about it for I was in need of a change. Mark was my stylist . . . He made me feel comfortable and it wasn't long before I felt I was in very capable hands. Mark gave me a great new cut and took the time to discuss and show me a couple of different ways to style my hair. I loved how knowledgeable he was and how he took with time with me. Thanks again! more

used my groupon to have my hair cut by new-to-charlotte stylist mark. come to find out, he is from new york and has experience cutting celebrity hair. needless to say, my hair was in good hands. i walked out feeling beautiful and knowing i will definitely be making a trip back to see mark! more

I saw a Groupon for services at this salon and thought it would be a good day out for my daughters and me. When I made the appointment, I told them I needed an appointment for me and one daughter for manicures and pedicures to be done at the same time so we could sit beside each other. I was quoted a price of $60 each less the groupon price which would have been $10 extra. When we got there, there was only 1 person to do both of our mani/pedi at the same time which took a lot longer than we expected. Not only that but it is one of the worst manicure/pedicures we've ever gotten. She left our fingernails and toenails ragged on the ends where she filed. On the manicures, she did not go all the way back to the cuticles so it looks like we already have a week's growth and my daughter's manicure is already peeling. This would definitely not be worth paying $65. My other daughter had used her groupon last year to get a new haircut. She was also very displeased. Needless to say we won't be back and definitely will NOT recommend MC3 Salon to any of our friends. When we got to the register, we were told it would be an extra $15 instead of $10. I told her I had been quoted $60 but she said she didn't know I was told that. more

i have been going to Mickey for over a year now. I was thrilled when I started with her and still am. So many times hairdressers seem give a different cut every visit. But Mickey has consistently worked to be sure I looked my very best. I change shades of color and the products she uses improves the look and texture of my hair. Unlike other salons I have visited, Mickey has listened and tried to comply with any request. You can see that she really loves her art and makes her clients as comfortable as possible. She is creative and works toward the very best possible outcome. I have been to many salons in and around Charlotte but I really do feel that Mickey and MC3 is the best. barbara more

Since I moved here, I've always gotten my hair cut at Planet 21, which is a reasonable salon as far as price and quality, but not anything particularly special. I thought I would try out MC3 because of the hype that was going around, and I walked out disappointed and feeling like I had wasted my money. I got a cut with the owner, and she rushed through the cut, leaving me with uneven layers. I also paid for a cut & style, but she didn't finish blowing out my hair, so i left the salon, in mid winter, with wet hair. The place is nice, I'm sure the spa is fine, but I wouldn't recommend getting a haircut at this salon. more

I had been going to another salon in Charlotte for the last few months. This week I was unable to make my appointment there and the salon was unwilling to work with me to reschedule so I had decided it was time for a change. I called MC3 and was able to get in that day with Robert. I now have fabulous blonde hair and a cut that I love. Before no one really noticed when I got my hair cut but after going to Robert I have recieved more compliments than ever before...thanks!! Pros: very easy to schedule my appointment! I had color and hair chop at a walk in place. This time I wanted a style and color . I described the look and color I wanted to see my hair is very straight and hard to cut.. Mickey did my hair and it was very good and exactly what I wanted. The prices were very reasonable. I will be back and so will my wife. I went in for Highlights walked out with it all. First this Spa is about you feeling and looking your best I have never had a Spa consider what I need and don't need . Many of the Spas are great for massages but this place has the bells and whistles. I loved the Sauna before and after my massage, My body wrap gave me so much energy and got me in my skinny jeans for my date that evening. The highlights I got were fantastic and affordable that I got to do all these services for the same price I had paid at my old Salon.. This is such a breath of fresh air and would highly recommend everyone there. I WILL BE BACK!! Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: I WISH I could go more more

MC3 is such a great Spa! I love that before my massage, I got to sit in the sauna which was in the private spa away from all the noise, and get warmed up Jess gave the best massage and got me super relaxed. Then the body wrap from Georgia was incredible! I lost 2 pounds and several inches. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything as we went. I felt like a new person after! Never having a straightner I was very nervous. I wanted no outgrowth or chemicals on my hair but was frustrated with the frizz and my hair looking like Medusa when I woke up and wraping it so I looked half way decent. My friends found this salon for me knowing I wouldn't do it. I love my hair for the first time in my life it is shiny, healthy and smooth. Why most salons can not cut short hair with a style I do not know but. I have found someone who can really cut hair. Mickey cut a very stylish short haircut. I get stopped all the time for the first time in years. I love love my new hair again. Pros: Short Haircut more

Anyone who is like me wanting a C;hange with a stylist that is up on what is in fashion and is great with color and hard to cut hair you hands down HAVE TO go to this place. I just moved here from Seattle and Wanted a updated look. First time I had a stylist keep my hair long and wanted me to be sexy for my man who I am going to see for Christmas. I walked out looking like a supermodel (not really) but I felt like it. I saw The owner she was so so Hip and new I was struggling with monies gave me a manicure and some products for no charge. I will tell everyone or anyone this Place cares and really are want the BEST for their clients. I watched everyone leave as my color was doing its thing and WOW everyone leaves looking fantastic. My girlfriend referred me to the salon since I needed a new look. I went in for a haircut and got a Brazil Straightner. I LOVE MY Hair. Normally frizzy. big and I spend an hour straightening it. Now 10 min and it is in the best condition ever. I shopped around after just to see what others charge and I got a great price and didn't even now it. Walked in to this salon on a last minute. I got a cool haircut and I really liked the fact they rinsed my hair so I could go back to the office. Good service and the price is very reasonable. This is a hidden Salon for people who want quick, and easy appt. versus a chop shop. Pros: Haircut more

We had spa finder gift cards from our credit card points. Our massages were so relaxing, we went into a sauna prior to our massage to relax and warm up our bodies. It made the whole experience so so good. We drank herb tea and relaxed on the couch after. GREAT GREAT. Pros: massage Cons: I can't get more as often as I would like more
