MASSAGE ENVY-Arboretum

My Massage Envy experience is always the best! I love that when I come in, the staff knows me by name and readily checks me in. My massage therapist is always so friendly, smiles a lot and is very positive! She knows just how to help eliviate my muscle tension and headaches. One session and I always feel much better. Massage has become a form of medicine for my headaches. Joining over 3 years ago was the best personal decision I made. I love the Arboretum. It is clean, friendly and very convenient. I was given a gift certificate for a massage at the Arboretum location. In comparison to massages I have had in the past my first impression was immediately off. The girls at the front desk were friendly but looked and acted unproffessional. The therapist that gave me the massage made me extremely uncomfortable by making comments about my body and just overall came off as a creep. I felt disgusted after I left and still do. Massage Envy is to massage what fast food is too restaurants. My advice....if you want a good massage spend $15 - $20 more and go to a reputable spa. I really hope that people read this and take this to heart especially when giving as a gift. I will never go to Massage Envy again. more

I recently renewed my membership with Massage Envy. The entire staff is professional and skilled at what they are asked to do. I highly recommend the hot stone massage. I have had hot stone massages at some of the nicest spas in the country and the hot stone massages I have received @ Massage Envy are comperable if not better than those I have paid much more for. The front desk staff is always pleasant and accomidating when I visit. Pros: Great Massages at a great Price more

I have gone to Massage Envy several times and absolutely LOVE my monthly massage that I get at an affordable price. All the therapists I have seen have gone above my expectations every time. The front desk is always smiling and very helpful and I have never had an issue with them in person or over the phone. I recommend Massage Envy to all my friends and family who want a high quality massage at a reasonable rate and excellent customer service - in fact, everyone who I have recommended now goes regularly! Do not go here, they ripped me off for three paid massages! Said my contract expired and so I lost three massages, my beef is that I was in 5 days prior and the nice girl told me I had three left and I said see you next week then! Bad, Bad business not to tell me they were going to expire! Then when they told me I had lost them they offered one back if I would renew a membership! Hello NO! Also I had brought a friend as a treat, while they were ripping me off they were trying to get her to join, never saying a word to her about how to lose your PRE-PAID massages! I am out 180.00 plus the cost of my massage and the one for my friend. The girl actually had the nerve to say didn't you read your contract?!!!! Well yeah, months ago! Don't ever sign a contract with them, they hope you will forget the date months later so they can keep your money...great business thinking, they got my 180.00 but that is the end of it, never another penny ever! I really enjoy my experiences at Massage Envy Arboretum. I've had Kem, Elana, Lindsey and Gina and all of them were really educated and helped with my back pain and headaches. I feel like the people that answer the phones really do a good job of recommending therapist. Make sure you tell them what you are looking for because that way you can be sure you are going to get what you pay for. In general they have really helped with my personal issues and I think they can help with anything you may need. more

I've had plenty of massages, and the couple I had from Massage Envy were the worst. If you are just looking for someone to rub on you, its your place. If you are looking for massage, don't go here. If you do, don't sign the contract without reading every word. There are some key points left out of their presentation. Pros: cheap Cons: you get what you pay for more

There were some very skilled therapists during my contract with Massage Envy. The front desk staff was always really friendly. There was one time that I had a VERY bad experience with one of the therapists and they immediately refunded my pre paid session and let me use it a different time. Unfortunately at times the therapists I would get seemed to be overworked. Almost like their hands were tired. I felt that sometimes they didn't listen to what it was you wanted...almost like they had a standard massage they pulled out of their back pocket for you to use. When it came time to cancel my contract I didn't provide the 30 days notice. It is very important that you do that or you will get billed for another month. I provided 21 days notice and was charged for an additional month. The front desk staff became instantly not as helpful and were quick to point out parts of the cancellation agreement. READ WHAT YOU SIGN WITH THEM...DON'T EXPECT THEM TO BE UPFRONT WITH YOU!!!! more

As soon as I called Massage Envy they asked about my pain and paired me with an incredibly talented therapist. I was so relieved of tension that I immediately joined. Now I can get a massage twice a month at Massage Envy for what I used to pay for just one massage. They have a quiet room and double rooms for couples so it still feels spa like but the massage is the focus and it is fabulous!
