My wife first ""dragged"" me to Luxe (Nina does a great job on her hair) as an upgrade from my usual discount haircut place. Although the store is definitely a ""female"" space, they are all very down-to-earth, easy to engage, and very skilled. As a guy, once you get over just walking through the door the first time, it's no problem at all. It's amazing how women have transformed getting a haircut into a pleasant experience, while men have been just going to barber shops. I go to Chelsea and it's hands down the best haircut I've ever had. It's good enough that I actually need a haircut less often. more

Luxe Salon is GREAT! 5/5/2012

I've been seeing Kathryn at Luxe a Boutique Salon for over a year now. I found Kathryn after moving here from Spring, TX and having the same hair stylist for over 20 years. She is the best. She listened to my concerns and what I wanted and also threw in some new styling techniques which I have loved. I will be staying here for the long run. I highly recommend Kathryn Knox and Luxe Salon! more

A Great Experience! 5/5/2012

When I left Luxe Salon after an amazing haircut and color I actually felt pretty. It was the first time in five years that I had this experience. Nina is a wonderful and gifted colorist and stylist. She's a good listener and as a result through her experience and passion for her profession delivers an incredible result. I've had great comments on my new look and I love it. Her staff is very accommadating and friendly and I felt very comfortable during my visit. I would be happy to recommend Nina to anyone looking for an answer to the right haircut and color experience. Nina is Fabulous!!! 3/21/2012

Nina is the best colorist and stylist I have ever had! I have been coloring my hair for over 20 years now and she is hands down the best! Her haircuts are amazing! You know you have a good cut when you can go a while in between cuts and your hair still looks amazing! Her salon is darling and the staff is friendly and professional. I will never go anywhere else, a friend recommended Nina to me years ago, thank goodness!!! more

So smart and stylish! 3/21/2012

You have to try Ellie---takes the classic style and adds a current edge! I have had my hair in a swing cut or wedge for professional reasons for years. She took that ordinary cut that can actually age you or make you look stern, and turned it into a today look. Very stylish, great profile, falls back in place and moves. Wow! Wish I had found her years ago. Now every time I see someone from the back with that old page boy look, i want to say stop. Go to Luxe Salon in Lakeway---be smart, stylish and get compliments. Wonderful color, too. A-plus more

Outstanding Customer Service!! 3/5/2012

Love, love this salon! Had a hair emergency with my 9 year old daughter, and the owner Nina answered the phone when I called first thing Monday morning. Nina offered to call and see if the stylist who was working that day could come in early to look at my daughter's hair and try to fix it! Not only did Tiffany come in early- she did an A-mazing job! My daughter was so happy, and Tiffany was wonderful with her! Thank you Luxe! more

I love the beautiful decor of Luxe Salon, but even more fabulous than that is Ellie!!! Ellie has been cutting my hair for a few years now, and I love how she does it every time! She is very attentive and detailed, listens to what you want, but also gives her professional opinion, so it just makes for a great haircut, and thus a VERY happy customer, ME! Elle is so nice and personable. I've recommended many friends to her, and they all have loved their hair afterwards!!! I followed Ellie from her previous salon and will continue to do so for many many years to come!!!! :) more

Great hair, great products and great service! 1/11/2012

Ellie has done a great job on my hair - cut and color both! She's also very sweet and personable and seems to intuitively know what I want without much explanation. Nice! The salon is beautiful and the owner and staff always make sure everyone feels very welcome. Luxe also carries a great product line - Eminence Organics skin care, Aquage hair care, Davines hair care and lots of other goodies including earring and things. Definitely go check it out! more

Found Ellie by accident a while back and just love her. She is an amazing stylist, and this is coming from a 54 yr old woman... who is hard to please! :) She's sweet, and kind but also amazing w the scissors and blower dryer.... i get compliments all the time when i have my hair done by her!! Ellie ROCKS! 12/28/2011

Ellie is awesome! She first started taking care of my hair a couple of years ago. I really need my hairstyle updated and Ellie had an amazing plan which took us a year to accomplish, through both haircuts and color. She stuck with it and now I get compliments about my hair all the time! I could tell how much pride she took in helping me. I always have a great time when she is doing my hair and I consider her a friend. She is great and will have a rocking career! more

After going to the same person for 15 years I was nervous about trying someone new for highlights and a cut. But Elle did just great!!! She was thorough and took her time on the highlights and gave me a cut that has lasted. I've been given a ton of compliments and give all the credit to Elle. In addition, Elle is absolutely a joy to talk to!!! I'm definitely sticking with Elle... more

Elle is the one you want 12/28/2011

I recently moved to Austin and did not know who to go too to get my hair cut. I meet my neighbor and just loved the way her hair looked so I asked her who she had cut her hair. She told me Elle. Upon my first visit I knew I was in great hands. My hair has never looked better. It is always a pleasure to see Elle not only does she have the best personality but getting your hair done is so much fun when you are sitting in her chair. I've been going to CECE COLLIER since I've known what's good for me. She's absolutely the only person I trust my hair with; I travel hours to see her! She is an artist with her hair styling and has an eye for what she does. I have never been disappointed in anything she's done because her work is always brilliant!! She's amazing and talented, and sweet to boot!!:) more

Ellie is AMAZING 11/13/2011

Ellie is a miracle worker!!!! I found her 3 years ago after a stylist at another salon wrecked my color and cut! I came in frantic thinking it was the end of my world. She was so sweet, she calmed me down, fixed my color and cut and made it more beautiful then I ever imagined my hair could even be!! All of my friends and family go to her and love her too. I would never trust my hair to anyone else! If your looking for an AMAZING stylist I highly recommend you go see Ellie at Luxe. more

Christine 'CeCe' Collier: Hair Guru!! 11/11/2011

Christine is the greatest thing that has ever happened to my unruly, unmanageable and unrelenting mass of hair. I would recommend, no insist, that everyone visit Christine at Luxe ASAP regardless of what they want done to their hair. In my book, Christine can do no wrong. Luxe is such a great environment and everyone is really happy to be there. Normally I dread trips to the salon but going to Luxe has become the highlight of my Friday afternoons. But back to more important things.. like how fantastic Christine is. I am super weird and picky about my hair but I trust Christine completely and would let her do anything she thought worked. She is just that good. Moral of the story. Go to Luxe. Today. Ask for Christine. And she will change your life. more
