Lutheran Social Services of Illinois provides an array of services to the Chicago area. We are a not-for-profit organization, serving people of all walks of life. We assist children, adults and families with mental health, pregnancy and substance abuse issues. Our programs are developed to give people a choice and to help our community heal and grow. Our children?s community services include adoption assistance, foster care, pregnancy counseling and our Head Start program. With Head Start, we are able to offer quality childhood education, emphasizing beginning reading, writing and computer activities. Our adoption services help women make the best decision for their babies. We give you a choice and let you decide what is best. We allow you to remain in contact with the adoptive parents and help you with living expenses.
