Los Tres Magueyes - Hwy 54 now open!! 9/25/2006

If you like Los Tres Magueyes on the corner of Kildaire Farm Rd & Maynard, near the KMart shopping center, you'll LOVE the new Los Tres, behind the Golden Corral at the corner of Cary Parkway and Highway 54! You know those long lines to wait for a meal at Los Tres on the weekends? Well, the new location has much more room inside, complete with a bar, two dining rooms, and space for the whole family. The food is just as great as the original location, and you'll even recognize some of the waitstaff! Definitely worth a taste, this is going to be my new favorite restaurant! more

Standard Fare... 3/18/2006

Despite living just three minutes from this restaurant, it never seems to be the Mexican place we wind up at most often - it's prices are slightly higher than others in the area. The food is pretty good and the service is quick (fairly typical of Mexican restaurants, really). The margaritas are top-notch and available in a variety of flavors (though why you'd ever stray from lime, I don't know). The staff are kind, even when you roll in smelly because you're exhausted from camping and want to stop somewhere on the way home. I should probably go there more often than I do. more

My husband is from carey, and whenever we go back to visit we have to go to 'los tres' with his buddies from home. Its your typical mexican restuarant, free standing in the middle of a parking lot... colorful crap hanging inside., BUT I discovered you can go online and print out a coupon for a disount if you go to their website. Magueye is the plant that tequila is made from. Just a lil trivia for ya. take that home with you, chew on it. its good stuff. more

Hopelessly addicted 9/14/2005

I love this place! The food is always hot and fresh, the service is fast, and the margaritas are huge... The chips and salsa are soo much better than other local restaurants. Try the chicken chimichanga. more
