Los Comales always has a line. This is because it is reasonably priced and had a wide variety of options. In addition to the regular taqueria standbys, they offer choices like shrimp or ground beef burritos.
Shall we say, they cater to those of a more bland-loving palette?
I had the super shrimp burrito. The shrimp was not seasoned and the whole burrito was watery and ran down my hands as I ate it. My friend had a wet chicken verde burrito, which looked good. The salsas weren't very flavorful, but a super burrito is only $5.75, a childrens is even less, and wet burritos just a little bit more. My super shrimp was $8.10. Not really worth it.
Los Comales is great if you need to grab something, are on a budget (super veg burrito only $4.75) or are picking up some food for your kids. Not, however, one of the best.
Pros: Reasonably priced and good selection
Cons: bland seasonings and long lines!
