This is a great new restaurant. I believe this restaurant has only been open a few months. My husband, daughter and myself stopped in here Saturday, January 27th at about five in the evening. They were crowded and I had to sign in and get a number. We waited for about one hour and I was getting a little frustrated because I was seeing people that arrived after me be seated. I did ask the girl taking names what was going on and she told me that you can call in and be put on the list. By doing this they took preference over someone who has been sitting waiting to be seated. I did not think this system is fair. You should just take reservations if you are going to do this. I was a little discouraged at this point.
We were finally seated after quite a wait. Our server was a young lady named Nickkia. She was wonderful. She offered specials and she took out empty plates in a timely fashion. I can not complain about the service at all.
My husband ordered the porterhouse streak medium well with a baked potato and a salad. The steak was done perfect the first time. He totally enjoyed his meal.
My daughter ordered baby back ribs and grilled chicken with a baked potato and baked cinnamon apples. The meal was done perfect and she ate every bit. Ok she did share her ribs with her dad and he gave her a piece of his steak.
I ordered the T Bone steak with a baked potato , salad, and a side order of the cinnamon apples. My steak was supposed to be medium well and it was just a little too red and bloody for me. There was no problem what so ever. The server (Nickkia) took it back. Then a man brought me back my steak a few minutes later with his apology. He then waited for me to cut the steak which I did and it was perfect. The steak had very little fat and it was just as tender as it could be. I was very happy with the service I received.
When the meal was done and we were ready to leave Janicka Green came over to the table and introduced herself. She asked how we liked our meal and service. I told her about my steak not being right but that it was taken care of right away. Janicka was very nice and welcomed us back. I told her I am sure that I will be back. The food and service were great.
The price of the mean for the whole family was under $81.00 and that is a bargain for steaks that were tender and ribs that were juicy. I thought the prices on the menu were very fair and the meal was worth every penny.
The parking lot is large and can handle a large number of patrons. I highly recommend this great restaurant.
