these people are a rip off artist, they charge you one thing and not close to what is quoted

Greatly appreciate 3/21/2012

Took my custom 91 chevy caprice on 26" rims to lone star engine and i am a happy customer. One day my car started jerking while i was driving so i called lone star engine and they told me to get it over there so i paid the tow truck driver to pick up my car and when they got it, it took 5 weeks before i got my car back i was told they where backed up. when i got my car back it was running grate and i got big rims! they told me if i had "any" problems to take it back so they could check it. lone star engine thanks for the grate job!!!! now im still on the road and my car still work grate!! like my dad always told me... 'take care of your car and it will take care of you!! just keep up with your tone up's!!!!! more

What a relief!!! 3/21/2012

I had a blown head gasket, a couple leaks and an old radiator in my 2004 Toyota Rav4. They replaced the engine, radiator and radiator hose a few months ago and with the exception of re-installing the fuse for my alarm (because it kept going off during the exchange), it was an amazing job! more

Honest Mechanic 2/28/2012

Good honest mechanic!!!! I was recommended here by my dads mechanic when my engine died The owner worked with the warranty company and got them to pay for a new re-manufactured engine from Jasper. Its been six months and still no problems! I have been going back here for all my routine matinees ever since. If you are looking to have your car fixed right the first time I highly recommend Lone Star Engine Installation. Thanks a million. more

Awesome and fast service my Volvo had a horrible engine noise, after calling many companies I found these people and I went to their garage. They fixed it for me and now it drives great with no noise. more

Very thorough, accommodating, and reliable service. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and only do work that's necessary. The prices are fairly reasonable and they keep you up to date on repairs. Service team also does a great job of explaining everything. I would recommend this shop to anyone more
