Lolas response about that RAMILEK : First of all, the comment that she wrote is totally false. 1., She waited 50 min. because the rotisserie chicken was still cooking in the oven and she wanted to wait for it. 2. She ordered Pancita (Honeycomb) too and we never had any complaint in our 8 years, about the salt in that dish. 3. We put the money back same day, maybe she didnt check her bank activities statements clearly (we have the voucher with us as a proof) 4. if she decide not to come it is ok with us because we don't want to have rude customers. more

Lola's Rataurant was one of my favorites restaurant in Peruvian food and this is coming from a Peruvian, so not to long ago I went there w my bb, we ordered to go cause we didnt feel like eating there anyway.. we ordered , we waited for about 50 min to get the food which at the beging I said ok! may be I will get fresh food... but to my surprise the food was horrible when I get home, one of the items that I orderd was over saltty and the chicken was not fresh!!! I mean you can tell when the chicken was from the day before... well I said to my self ok I will let this go, but when I was checking that all items that I orded to my surprise I was missing two more items, so I was pretty cool about it I called them I let them know of their mistake and just told them to put the money back to my cc. but as today I checked my acct and instead of getting a credit from items i didnot get i see that they charged me twice ... so to make thing worse I have being calling them to clear this out and no one will pick up the phone...and I honestly I wouldn't recoment this place to any body, services is bad\r food got very bad quality\r well they even charge me twice and to end it all the havent returned the money to cc.\r \r sorry but this...but this is my personal expirence! more

Lola's restaurant serves up very good Peruvian food, nice atmosphere with a patio outside; service is very good, I also had it delivered to my job, not expecting anyone to like it within 30 minutes everything was gone. Enjoy :) Pros: service, food, atmosphere more

The food is absolutely delicious. We tried it out for Father's Day, and have been back at every opportunity. Their menu is not extensive, but the food and service is DEFINITELY better than Mamita's. \r \r The waiters are very polite and attentive, making sure you have everything you need. The Chicha Morada is an absolute must. The Arroz con pollo is also good. They have lunch specials. You will not be disappointed. Pros: Location, service, food Cons: Buffet food: warm vs. hot more

There aren't any Peruvian places my family and I like in LA. (Mario's, Don Felix). Lola's is fair, and is where we end up going, considering the alternatives. Their pollo a la brasa is good. Aji de gallina, not so good. Soup, not good. Yuca frita con papa a la huancaina is very good. Anticuchos are very good. Service is slow, and they don't sell hard liquor, but it's a pleasant atmosphere. more
