So very pleased with this dental office!! From the time you walk in the front door, you are greeted so kindly and welcoming. They know who you are...not just another patient like so many other medical offices. Fred is so polite. Dr. Lohmann is very professional, yet personable. He takes care of all your dental needs...explaining what he is doing throughout your entire procedure. From basic cleaning to fixing a major gap in my front teeth, Dr Lohmann took the time to make sure not only that the procedure is done very well...but to my expectation!! I have nothing but praises for the Lohmann Dental Office. He will take care of your entire family! Make an appointment to see MY dentist and his crew....you will be sooooo pleased. I am!!!! more

I am so relieved to find Dr. Lohmann and his happy office. There was nothing wrong with my old dentist really, but he took a long vacation and was closed so I took the advice of a friend and went to see Dr. Lohmann. Dr. Lohmann and his staff were really great. They knew my name, had great manners and treated me like I was a celebrity. Then I saw the next patient come in and they treated THEM the same way. Wow. An office full of happy people who actually care that you came in? Wow. Where do they hire these people? Highly recommended! more

Dr. Lohmann has been my dentist for more than 13 years. His concern for my dental health as always been paramount. Referrals for specialized services have been great and share his sense of professionalism. His office manager, Wendy, is the most helpful and professional person I have ever experienced when dealing with either doctors or dentist. Dr. Lohmann is always well-versed in the newest and greatness dental technology. As long as I live in Atlanta, Dr. Lohmann will be my dentist. I don't know what religion has to do with dentistry, I visited this office on several occasions to get a crown done. I was extremely happy with both the result and the price. This is an excellent dentist. more

Okay honestly this is the worst dental office I have ever been to. They are all scientologist and will tell you all about it which is very unprofessional. I actually feel a little bad because they gave me $50 of free services to post this review and I guess assumed I would have a positive one. Who pays their patients to post good reviews? I feel like that should be illegal. I overheard Dr. Lohmann speaking with the office manager Wendy and ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING YOUR MONEY. Wendy was terribly unprofessional when I met with her, she smelled of smoke so bad that I gagged. Although the hygienist was pleasant I will never return to this dental office. It is run-down and their equipment is outdated. They do have TV's which was nice. Dr. Lohmann can ONLY perform fillings and crowns. For all other services he refers you out, to me that is not a very good dentist. I don't like to judge on religion but scientologist are nuts. more

If one were shopping for a good, quality place for all of your dental health needs, whatever facet that may take, Dr. Lohmann and his staff at Lohmann Dental in Buckhead should be your first stop. I have been there for cleanings, whitening treatments, and actually recently completed InvisAlign. I cannot speak enough to how flexible scheduling was, but more importantly, how great the service was. I actually had a chipped tooth during my 4 month InvisAlign treatment, and I was given an appointment the same day, which speaks volume to the level of care that they provide. Pricing was great and flexible, but what I love most is that everyone was friendly and gave me options. My result? I have a perfect smile and I will continue to do my 6 month cleanings at Lohmann Dental, even after moving to Boston, Mass in August! more

He and his staff were very patient with me and answered all my questions. For a Buckhead office, it is basic not fancy, but he does have direct TV for each patient room. Pros: he knows what he is doing more

My friend Travis was really afraid of dentist visits. He found Dr. Lohmann and recommended him to me. He said Dr. L was the only painless dentist he had ever known.\r \r Listening to Travis is one of the best things I've ever done. Lohmann and staff are not only gentle and pain-free, but they are fun people to visit and talk with. AND Dr. Lohmann is reasonably priced!\r \r He is in a great part of town -Buckhead near Piedmont Hospital. He's right on the bus line, too. You can get to a cool bar or a cool AA meeting near his office, your choice! Not that you will NEED either, but the point is there is anything you want nearby --shopping, movies, eateries, etc. \r \r Lohmann is a really great dentist and I recommend him highly. Pros: Gentle, painless and pleasant personality. Cons: It helps if you can get to and from Buckhead easily. more

I heard about Lohmann Dental from Rebecca who was very nice and friendly. She helped me get an appointment and we arranged my treatment as my schedule premitted while going to college. The staff there were super friendly and caring. I needed a deep scale cleaning and I was very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend going there. I'm on the fence with this office. Up until the end I had a pleasant experience. The front desk girls were very helpful and addressed all my questions. They were even able to work me in when the schedule was full. I was pulled back by the hygienist right away and didn't have to wait long. I was greeted by everyone I passed. The hygienist was extremely nice. She was gentle and explained everything very thoroughly - she even showed me pictures of the teeth that needed fillings so I could see them. She was very personable and listened to my concerns. Dr. Lohmann was also very tentative and reviewed everything with me again. He seemed to be concerned about my teeth not my pocketbook. After he talked to me about the work that needed to be done he explained that his office manager was going to go over the rest of the details - this is when it went all down hill. When she entered the room she reeked of SMOKE! It was overwhelming and the smoke smelled filled up the entire office. This is a medical environment. I'm surprised Dr. Lohmann would hire staff that didn't represent a healthy lifestyle, or at least not let them smell of the evidence. She was very fake and didn't listen to a word I was saying . She just smiled and shook her head pretending to care, but I felt like she only cared about the bottom line - my money. I felt offended and unappreciated. She seemed desperate. I left undecided whether or not I would be returning. It's a shame because the rest of my experience was great. The location was good and they had flexible hours, just wish I had left with a better last impression. Pros: Great hygienist!!! Cons: Horrible smoke smell more

I actually found Dr. Lohmann when I first moved to town four years ago and literally opened up my BC/BS booklet and saw that he was in my neighborhood and in my plan. I didn't have any referrals but I thought.. what the heck! \r \r How lucky was I! They are soooo nice! Everyone there makes you feel comfortable and at ease. They have NEVER taken me late for an appt and are always efficient and timely during the exams. Dr. Lohmann is so sweet and I always feel like I'm in great hands! \r \r They have the capabilities to show you on a big screen what's actually going on in your mouth and explain it thoroughly so you understand. I was having some sensitivity and they explained why and what needed to be done. You never feel like you are getting some service you don't really need. \r \r I cannot recommend this dentist and dental office enough. They are wonderful!! And if you want your smile to sparkle.. give them a call! : ) Pros: Caring Staff, Prompt Service, Great Technology Cons: NONE! more

The friendly staff is great from start to finish and are a great complement to Dr. Lohmann. Dr. Bill was referred to me by a co-worker and I've been really happy with every aspect of my care. Where should I begin... From the moment you step foot through the doors you are greeted with a smile and great conversation. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT LONG FOR SERVICE. This is a major plus for me as a fulltime working Wife & Mom. The Dental Hygenist brings you to the back and immediately I am at ease with her gentle touch and attention to detail. The equipment is state of the art and they don't perform any unnecessary procedures. Dr. Lohmann promptly follows the Hygenist (again no long waiting) and reviews with ease. He & his insurance specialist are very comprehensive. I always leave understanding the work I've had done, need done and how much it will cost. There are no surprises. 1 of the best things I appreciate about Dr. Lohmanns practice is his awareness of the patient. Times are hard and they want to be sure you can afford the work you need done. I had been going to my previous dentist for 13 years, and was very satisfied. When I went with my wife to her appt. with Dr. Lohmann, I was immediately impressed by Rebecca's warm reception. I had several questions, and although she was busy, she took the time and answered them all. My major complaint with my previous dentist is that I was always blindsided by cost that my insurance provider did not cover. Wendy, Dr. Lohmann's insurance specialist makes sure that doesn't happen. I've never seen anyone so thorough. She even helped me figure out a plan to maximize my insurance benefits. April, the hygenist, was great, and Dr. Lohmann completely understood and complied with my holistic concerns regarding removing old silver/mercury fillings and cosmetics. Pros: Great bedside manner!
