Best Pizza 10/15/2009

Became a customer after a family member suggested we should try it back in 2008. We have been a loyal customers ever since. Kids love the food! Toss up between Fuzzy's and Locatelli's for best pizza in town! Pros: Good atmosphere, Friendly service Cons: not enough seating more

Great neighborhood hang out 8/7/2009

Food has been consistantly good. Great place to take the family for a night out, keeps you coming back for more with there fresh toppings and big portions; enough to take home for leftovers! Try the carnatelli (meat lovers) and add meatballs, or if you like spicy food, the texatelli is the best way to go, all the fresh peppers work perfectly together. Put a telli in yor belly! more

This place is GREAT 3/9/2009

This place is GREAT!! The pizza I've ever tasted, totally worth the wait. The only negative aspect to our many visits, was the great disappointment to realize we won't be able to get great pizza when we forget they're closed on Mondays more

Overpriced burnt pizza and a nasty customer service 11/4/2008

I have received great feedbacks about this place. So I decided to pay a visit a buy one of their famous pizzas. I must tell you it was a bad, bad experience. For starters, I wait 1 (one) entire hour for the pizza. The young and clumsy (she forgot my request twice) female cashier told me I would wait 10 minutes tops... I thought to myself: ""Ok, it will be an awesome pizza"". I paid almost 20 bucks and wait. 20 bucks for a pizza? ""Well, it should be worthy"". I got my pizza check the toppings real quick and head to home in order to enjoy it with my wife. Well, my friends, pizza was burnt, way overcooked. Not that blackish nice good looking on the bottom of pizzas made on wood loaded oven, I mean hard as a stone. It looked like a Frisbee. The tomato sauce used was, well the canned one. No natural tomatoes sauce. My pepperoni half had so little cheese on it I thought Economical Crisis stroke Locatelli too hard. \r \r I tried to be a good customer, so I head to the place again and tell the female manager what happened. She was amazingly rude towards me and answered like I was lying, interrupting me all the time. Last, but not least, a guy who look like the other manager and cook shouted at both a us: ""I beg to differ: I check every single pizza before delivering.."" So I gave up. I told her back: ""It was just a feedback, I apologize for the inconvenience"" . The irony I was looking for reassurance regarding their pizza reputation and I was about to buy another 2 ones. Nobody wanted to listen the annoying customer...\r \r I beg to differ, but the place, customer service and the pizza were really bad... Pros: Absolutely None Cons: Absolutely Everything more

over rated, Thumbs way down 5/12/2008

visited this place after I read the reviews, and I was very suprised with the way the staff treat the customers\r after all we go out to eat and to enjoy our night out, not to be treated like invisable people.\r the sandwich is O.K nothing special, but the pizza is over rated, soggy and watery sauce, like the big chain pizza, although some time you can get O.K pizza at the big chain store. Pros: nothing Cons: service, pizza, ambience more

They can't call this place 4/16/2008

Walked in with wife and kid and we were greeted with a ""Hi, have a seat anywhere."" So far so good. We waitied a while before we got menus; long enough that I felt invisible and started looking around to see what was up. Finally we got menus and got some water since we were going to wait for the food to go. Menu had a nice selection. I read the pizza here is good but I didn't order any; I'm not into thin crust. I did see some people eating some of the pizza and the crust didn't look as thin as some others so I may try it IF I return. I ordered some buffalo type chicken as appetizers, two sandwhiches, and a Tiramisu to go. Waited some more...tick tock tick tock. Long wait for buffalo wings type appetizer, two sandwiches, and a cake. Looked around and some other people next to us waited a while for their check. There were some people outside but didn't seem too busy. Not many people inside. Looked to be only two waitstaff working. Finally got my food but no check. Waiting again. Trying to get waitress' attention. She passes by me and I lose sight of her. She's at table next to me so I ask for the check since we have our food to go and want to GO. Wait some more. Looks like some of her friends come in just as she's bringing our check. She stops to talk to them..I finally get my check. Get up and her and her friends are up talking in the middle of the place so I force my route through. Well I didn't push anyone but walked through an opening with my wife and kid.\r \r I don't know if being non-white had anything to do with the bad service. Probably not because it seemed like others had to wait too. Just felt unwelcomed in there but maybe it was due to the bad service. I like to think race didn't come into place and will just chalk it up to bad service. I'll probably try the place again some other time. Pros: Good Sandwiches, Excellent Tiramisu, Good beer selection Cons: Long wait time for everything and bad service, bad & greasy buffalo chicken, felt unwelcomed more

As Close To Authentic ""Italian Pie"" I've tasted in the South! 1/7/2008

Pizza crust--superb! The freshest ingredients are ALWAYS used. I'm Italian and this is as close to the ""old country"" pie you can get. Pros: Very authentic Italian cuisine Cons: Small--Need to expand more

Not that great 11/25/2007

The pizzas served here are OK but we could get similar ones (and cheaper) from any of the chain restaurants. The prepared foods, however, leave a lot of room for improvement. The red sauces are straight from the can as are the other ingredients (olives, etc.) If you have children this is probably a good place as it is usually crowded with families of loud kids and the bill is not that big. But if you are after quality tasty food, this place is not for you. Pros: Good for families with several children looking for an inexpensive night out. Cons: Quality of food is subpar more

Excellent Pizza!! 2/5/2007

The owner and staff always greet you w/ a smile, even on hectic nights. Pizza is one of the best in Houston and I think the best on the North side. Crust is perfect. Great lunch specials / portions are big. Fri & Sat nights can be very crowded and there is not a lot of seating. There are a few tables and chairs outside the restaurant. Lucky for us, we live very close and just call in our order for pick up. more

Great salads, pizza, and sandwiches 9/11/2006

I have eaten at Locatelli's several times and have never been disappointed in the food or service. It's a clean place with lots of TVs, a friendly staff, and good service. Their Greek salad is a meal by itself! The pizza is always cooked perfectly and they never skimp on the toppings. The menu is a great value. Pros: friendly staff, great food Cons: noise more

Hands down, the best Italian place in NW Houston 4/28/2006

Amazing food, friendly service, excellent values. The baked ziti is wonderful, the pizza is great (but make sure you get one of the specials), and the sandwiches are all excellent. Weekends can get busy, so make sure you are there early or call you order in ahead of time! more
