Living Proof is One-of-a-Kind 3/14/2012

I have utilized Living Proof’s strength training, Pilates, and Nutrition departments, and I can confidently say that each instructor excels in his or her area of expertise. Not only that, but they are smart and educated. I often feel as though I’m working out with friends, rather than “trainers”. The environment is friendly and upbeat, and never crowded since only a few people can work out at a time. Because the facility is private, the individualized attention and custom exercise and nutrition programs are top-notch. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone who would like to attain (and retain) results. more

The Right Place 10/14/2011

If you really looking for result, this is the place. This location has an energy level of 10/10. The higher this is the more likely it is that I feed off of other peoples energy and do not feel weird pushing my workout. The clientele has a lot of people that take fitness seriously and makes it nice if you are somebody that likes to push it hard. If you want to save some money trying this place, you can probably buy a 75% off dela from QuarterOFF. com. Good luck. more

Speaking with Lisa was a profound experience for me 1/27/2009

\r I went to see Lisa Jubilee in July 2003. At the time I was about to turn 33, I weighed 158 pounds (at 5?5?) and was wearing a size 10, fighting to not make it to a size 12. More disturbingly, my body fat was at a staggering 33%. I simply felt that I was not myself. I had spent my youth and teenage years, and pretty much early 20s being skinny, wearing first a size 0, then a 2, then a 4, and I conceived of myself as a small person. Weighing myself at Lisa?s, plus having my measurements taken was a disheartening experience. Additionally, at the time, I honestly did not understand how many calories I was to eat a day, how to balance a meal, what to eat, and where the hidden calories were. I had tried several tricks to lose weight, including an insanely failed attempt with Weight Watchers online, in which I barely ate for two days in order to ?save? up my points for a birthday extravaganza one night, which I barely attended, as I had managed to make myself ill instead. \r Today, I wear predominantly a size 4 (and size 6?s from European companies), and my body fat is somewhere around 17 or 18 percent. I have no idea what I weigh, and that is a positive. I know I look smaller and feel smaller than I did in August of 2004, but I might weigh the same as I have added muscle mass. Quite frankly, my desire to step on a scale has almost completely disappeared. Food, which has always been a joy and a social occasion for me remains so. It does not cause me trauma, and I enjoy myself regardless of where I go. I know how to approach a menu. I have also found that I come down with colds much less frequently and I have the ability to manage my hectic and busy schedule. \r Lisa is a lovely, kind, generous and knowledgeable person. Truly an inspiration 1/27/2009

I first came to Lisa Jubilee in the Summer of 2003, after my freshman year in college. I had gained a lot of weight, also known as the ?Freshman Fifteen,? after my first year and was realizing that in spite of my exercise routine and my uneducated attempt at eating healthy it was still not working. I needed professional help and the sooner I got it, the better. I was never stick thin but I was never overweight; people would always compliment me on my curvy figure, however, after my freshman year I was uncomfortable in my own body. I had lost my curves and had gained a stomach and thighs, to name just a few. I am writing this nearly three years after I first marched into Lisa?s office, and I feel amazing. I lost more than twenty pounds, went down four sizes, regained my curves, and am at my lowest weight ever. I feel healthy, energized, and most importantly, I feel good about my body. I love what I see when I look in the mirror, and I know that would never have been possible without Lisa?s help.\r \r \r more

Life Changing. 1/27/2009

My first visit with Lisa was on May 17, 2005 and I have lost 17 lbs so far. I feel GREAT! I feel healthier. This may sound weird but I feel very ""balanced"". I am exercising 3 times a week in addition and find now that I actually feel guilty or miss working out if I don't exercise for a few days. I'm trying to add more gym time and would like to get back to playing tennis again. And for the first time probably in my life I actually LOST A POUND over the Christmas/New Year's holidays!! I'm not perfect, but I?m learning. Now when I go out to eat or to a party, I may still have something that's not the greatest choice, but I?m more aware of what and how much I?m eating. If there are a lot of choices I try to think about what I would like and take a smaller portion of each. And if I do go over my calories, I make sure the next meal or next day I get right back on track. Being AWARE is the key word, because this is life, and I know there are going to be times I want a cheeseburger or pizza. I just try to have a plan for it now. more

Lisa is amazing 1/27/2009

\r I came to Living Proof after seeing my beach pictures from a tropical vocation in March 2008. Realizing that after being super thin all my life, I have unnoticeably managed to gain about 10 pounds between college and my late 20's. And needless to say, I slowly but surely became (what I now know) a ""skinny fat person"". I made my first appointment with Lisa after a friend's recommendation. I have never believed in diets, and was extremely skeptical about what she could really do for me. Despite my natural skepticism, everything that Lisa was saying after our initial meeting made sense. I started out at 116.5 pounds and 27.9% body fat, and ended at 104 pounds and 22.4 % body fat. More importantly, I never felt that I was on a diet. Lisa simply helped me alter my life style and my everyday eating habits. I discovered a new, healthier, fitter, and more confident me ? just in time for beach season!\r \r more

Sitting around with my very slender daughter and two daughter-in-laws...aha moment! Time to take control. My daughter highly recommended that I see her \r nutritionist, Lisa Jubilee. Working with Lisa has been a real pleasure \r from the start-goals were set, meal plans provided were personally \r geared to my likes and dislikes. I've been on this program \r for 5 months and can honestly say that hunger has never been an issue. \r I've lost 20 lbs to date and feel a real sense of pride with my \r progress. I can't tell you how pleased I was to have found that, even after vacationing, I had lost more weight, and had passed my original goal. I attribute this to your sound advice.\r What I like about your method is that it is without gimmicks or trendy ideas. It's just plain good sense, based on what I like to eat, lowering caloric intake, eating a healthy balance of foods, and exercising. The best part, of course, is that it works.\r I have lost about 13 pounds, which is more than I bargained for, and have also lost measurements and body fat. I look better and feel better.
