I'm a Malaysian so I know Malaysian food. This is probably the most authentic Malaysian restaurant in Atlanta. I've been Penang, Asam House & Top Spice (Malaysian/Thai) and after reading reviews Malay & Satay House, I don't think I'll bother trying them out. My all time favourite meat dish is beef rendang (spicy but very tasty- best eaten with coconut rice). Favourite veg dish is kang kung belacan (also spicy). Hainamese chicken is pretty good (best eaten with "chicken rice", it might be called something else there). These dishes are good for sharing. However, if you're looking for a all-in-one meal, try the curry noodle soup and might I suggest that you ask for a mixture of both "bee hun" (or "mee hun"- rice noodles) and yellow noodle or you can say it like this "ka-li-mai-fun-min" (cantonese). And for desert, I love "Ice Kacang"(basically shaved ice with various ingredients at the bottom topped with syrup & milk). It's not as good as what I can find back home, but it's the best here. I'm sure there are other good dishes here but I have only had a few of their dishes so far. Other "must eat" Malaysian (if you were to go to Malaysia, the country) would be char kuay teow, nasi lemak, satay, roti canai, asam laksa etc... But I haven't tried the ones in Little Malaysia.
Pros: Has most authentic food compared to other Malaysian restaurants, pretty decent service, clean.
Cons: May have parking issues but not usually. Hidden in a strip mall. Can be noisy when busy but that's kinda authentic too :).
