Linvila Orchards is a gem. They have a great farm store stocked with seasonal produce, a bakery, and tons of specialty food items. Outside, they have many animals for the kids to look at. They have a large playground good for at least an hour of running around! In the fall, Pumpkinland is magnificent, with display, a train and hayrides. more

I Love Linvilla! 12/27/2005

Going to Linvilla Orchards in the fall has been a tradition in my family since I was a baby. It's a wonderful place for a family to spend a day. In the fall they have Pumpkinland and you can pick out your favorite pumpkin. Make sure you take the kids on a hayride. The kids will also enjoy the large, outdoor playground. There are animals to see and lots of delicious treats to eat- the donuts are very good. They also sell fruits and veggies and some gourmet type foods. The bakery has some nice treats in it. Prices are a little higher than other places, but it's worth every penny spent on such a wonderful tradition. more

Great Family Outing 8/12/2005

I've been going to Linvilla Orchards since I was a child, now we take our children there. This is a fun place for families - they have animals, food, cakes, pies, a bakery. I particularly love it in fall when they have the Johnny Appleseed Craft Festival and open the Pumpkinland which is great for everyone. They also have pick your own fruit in season which is nice for the kids. The prices on the food is a bit higher, since they grow their own. They also have a fantastic playground for the kids. You can spend hours here and everyone will enjoy themselves. more
