Don't buy from Linder's! They're fraud; they sale you new item but will ship you return or refurbished item. It happens to me. I received the shipment all looks very good, no shipping damage. As I have more time to inspect the product afterward I notice the marble table edges were fixed with epoxy, and my chest was all moldy inside. I call CS and they will not take back the table nor the chest of drawers without charging me 15% for store credit or 30% for refund. They even charge me 15% for just exchanging the products. I told them I didn’t change my mind. I want the chest and the table in NEW condition not refurbished, which is what they delivered to me. It doesn’t matters 15% charge for exchange. I have never experience such business practice before. This is my first and last experience with Linder’s! I am paying the 30% and get my money back.\r DON'T BUY FROM LINDER'S! more

Don't buy from this company!! 7/27/2010

After buying a sofa and a couple of other items, all was well - for a week. The sofa almost immediately began to break-down. Basicly it was a nice looking piece of crap. I talked to the sales person who politely referred me to customer service. I explained that I onloy had the sofa for less than 2 weeks and already was breaking down, etc. They sent out a service person that tighened things up a bit, acknowledged that it was in fact breaking down, but could not do anything about it. I talked to CS again and they said there was nothingn they would do. They would not take it back for store credit, refund my money, NOTHING. I called mastercard and put in a customer dispute. Citibank asked me to supply all the back-up documentation I had, which I did. They determined in their investigation that I should not have to pay for the sofa and reversed the charge. The next thing I know, LINDERS TOOK ME TO COLLECTION!!! I called mastercard and they said they rarely saw this happen and that reputable vendors stood with the decision of mastercard....not Linders. Apparently in the fine print, they have the right to go after you anyway they want regardless of the decision of mastercard. My only alternative was to pay the collection or have my credit ruined. I paid the bill and will take them to small claims court. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY!!!! Pros: nice sales person Cons: customer service more

if something goes wrong, who knows when it will finally be resolved 3/22/2007

I purchased my couch on December 9, 2006. The holidays caused a slight, but understandable, delay.\r \r A couch was delivered on January 18, 2007, but it was the wrong color (manufacturer error). Linder customer service said that they would work with the manufacturer to get the frame of the couch re-upholstered, since that was the fastest way to get our couch. Perhaps it would be available on February 7th. So, not ready for Super Bowl, we cancelled our party (we just moved into a new house and don't have a couch at all).\r \r February 7th, the estimated delivery was February 25th. When I called that week, no one could tell me what happened or if my couch existed. Finally, on March 8th, I was told that they would call me in a few days with a delivery time for my couch.\r \r The next week I called to find out about my couch. Now the day it would arrive to their store would be March 22nd. And they would get the delivery set up right away so I could have the couch on March 23 or 24.\r \r On March 22nd, the couch was still not finished, and not available for delivery. However, once again, I am promised a couch next week. Oh, and a\r 7% discount refunded to me.\r \r My son was about 8 months old when we ordered the couch. Now we are celebrating his 1 year birthday on Saturday, having a bunch of friends over, but they will have no where to sit. Time to pull out those foldable camping chairs!\r Pros: helpful sales person Cons: powerless customer service representatives more
