Superb Quality, and strong drinks! 2/24/2008

Just stopped in yesterday, and had a great time.. I was recommended the chicken dish by the bartender Johnny, he did a wonderful job, very nice guy, and was very professional. I had 3 drinks, and loved them.. the drinks here are amazing, excellent quality, very nice pours, they use fresh juices in all their drinks, which really adds to the quality of the drinks here. I live right down the street, and now this is my weekly place. I would highly recommend Lime to everyone who enjoys up-scale spanish cuisine. To the fellow below who posted about the tapas having no flavour, I have no clue what he is talking about. The pork tapas here are incredible, and full of flavour, with a nice flavour of fresh pineapple dripping into the pork. Yummy!!! Pros: Great bartenders, Excellent Pollo Ox Dish, Wonderful drinks Cons: Place gets very packed, so you might want to make reservations more

Don't believe what you read ! 2/16/2008

The reviews on this site which gave Lime Taqueria 5 stars are people who work or have an interest in this restaurant's success. The food is really substandard considering all the hype about this imported Mexican chef. The ceilings are too high, probably intented to create an exciting atmosphere, but the hardwood painted furniture and cement floors allow for no sound dampening so this is basically a concert auditorium. Not a very good place for a romantic dinner unless you like repeating yourself.. and we went on a quiet night. Typical specials starting from $20 and getting very pricy.. i'll take my business to Papasitos if I want chain quality upscale Mexican and get alot more for my money. Bland and Uninspired Food 2/1/2008

The only redeeming qualities of this sub par offering are the bar. and the decor The menu is creative, however the taste is bland and uninspired. We tried a variety of tacos, and one out of six I would have again. The lobster taco had such a horrible seafood taste; if you want a real lobster taco try Nuevo Loredo or Nava. The beef and pork offerings had zero flavor, they were described wonderfully on the menu, but did not deliver. Honestly save yourself a $50+ night, and head down the street to Los Bravos, you'll get more flavor, a great drink at half the price. more

Fabulous New Restaurant 12/30/2007

As with anything, you get what you pay for. This by far, is not your typical Americano-Mexican place you find in your neighbourhood mini shopping centre, where they serve stale chips, and white queso dip; which is never served in Mexico. Lime has a executive chef. Pros: Very mellow place, relaxing for a date or with some friends, the staff here is very friendly, the owners can always be found, something far in most places Cons: probably not the best place to bring a bunch of little kids, but they do have baby chairs more

\r The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The owners actually made a point to meet our table, offer us complimentary desserts, and make us feel welcome. You can?t compare this dining establishment to your regular old hole in the wall Mexican restaurant with ""chips and salsa."" This is Mexican and Latin CUISINE. It's about time an upscale Latin influence arrived in Smyrna.\r more

Good Specialty Cocktails 12/19/2007

The cocktails were good. As for the menu, I was expecting more of my mexican favorites. Their menu is unique. We had a wide variety, including some of their different tacos. The finger food was good - but overall, I was looking for some more of the mexican staples - ie chips and salsa and such. I would go back for a drink though. Best Mexican meal I've ever had! 12/17/2007

The atmosphere is unique, and the food is beyond incredible. We sampled a mini gorda, a caesar salad, tacos (steak, lobster, and pork), and the chocolate souffle for dessert. Everything was amazing! This was great authentic mexican food. My favorite is the hot dog tacos. Muy yummy. It was a hot dog in a tortilla with some ketchup and salsa. . Good 2 go. I washed it down with a Miller Chill.
