When visiting my parents at the shore I decided to take them out for a prime rib dinner. Since we had not been to the Library 3 in many years, we decided to skip The Palm and Ruth Chris's and go to someplace less formal. BIG MISTAKE. The food was very dissapointing and my prime rib not fit for a dog. The smell of mold should have been a hint from the moment that you enter the front door. A trip to the bathroom made the Mobil Station bathroom in Fort Lee look like the Borgata. The hostess/manager was rude when I told and showed her the cut of meat that I had been served, large bone and fat that far outweighed the edible meat and covered the entire plate. I was not asking for a free meal or reduced price of my dinner but was treated in a very unproffesional manner with the Hostess/manager explaining to me how a larger cut was given to me because of all the fat and that fat is what makes it so good. She went on to tell me that I should have said something when the plate was put in front of me, basically that I had missed my chance to comment. That is when I told her I would not serve that cut to a dog. I was not asking for a free dinner or anything, just making management aware of my experience. After scolding me for eating what was edible before telling them, good luck getting anyone's attention without waiving them down, I was offered a filet or something different. We were ready for the check, not looking for anything but a good meal. I told the Hostess/manager that I have only complained twice in my life at a restaurant and that I would never send food back -- who know's what happens to the food in the back. The place needs a major overhaul, a major cleaning, and a change of staff.
Pros: EASY TO GET INTO
Cons: THE FOOD, THE SERVICE, THE CONDTION
