Everyone in the Fn District has awaited this opening, and it did not disappoint (except for the exorbitant amount of time it took to get the bill and get it processed). The service was friendly, the environment was intriguing yet inviting, and the food and drink were all palate-pleasing. The drinks were a bit pricey, but there were a couple standouts (Basserman-Jordan Riesling, Long Island Lager). As for food, the burger for meat eaters and the delicate, flaky fish and chips for seafoodies were both superlative. The Jonah crab claws had the sweetness, but not the velvety texture of a great crab. The restaurant is surprisingly small (in a cool way), so if you want to sit in the ""main"" dining room, it would be helpful to specify this when making a reservation. Overall, a much needed and long overdue addition to this area of town.
Pros: Food (one of few gastropubs), Design
Cons: Friendly, attentive but sometimes slow service
