Lexington Grill & Pub

I want to treat my sister on her graduation day. I brought her to this restuarant. We ordered some \r food and drinks. We were so amazed by the presentation of the food. It was perfectly done.\r Since by the looks itself, so already know that it would taste really delicious. And it was!! The \r menu we ordered was soft, creamy and saucy.\r And don't forget about the service, it was great. The place, Oh my! It was wonderful.\r We were really satisfied with what we have, with what we saw during that day. Especially for my \r sister. It was the unforgettable day for her. She was so happy that I brought her to this place. more

Unfortunately, this Lexington Grill is in no way the Lexington Grill in NYC. \r I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with twelve of my closes friends. Regrettably, I made this choice based on the reviews written on this site. I now suspect that the positive reviews written are bias affiliates of the restaurant. In any case, my friends and I were very disappointed with the quality of food and service. It took over an hour for food to be brought to us, and when we got it, four of our orders where wrong, two of the dishes arrived cold, and not to mention the very lackadaisical waitress spilled my best friend soda order all over her lap. The waitress stated she would come back with a replacement drink, but never did. Consequently, she charged our table for the soda, and stated she didn’t recall spilling any ones drink. We asked to speak with the manger who declined our request, because she was “too busy”, despite the fact she was visibly in our line of sight conversing flirtatiously with a male patron up at the bar. Anyway, on a positive note, the prices are pretty reasonable. But with that said, I still would rather pay more for quality food and courtesy service, especially when it comes to special occasions. To enjoy the Bardonia Lexington Grill, I think you have to be sufficiently inebriated . more

This place is very under the radar and underrated. It appears to be a sports bar and grill which is not my favorite kind of place, however, my husband and I have dined there a number of times for lunch and dinner and the food has been surprisingly good each time. And we are both pretty fussy. We don't order run of the mill burgers, we enjoy vegetable and fish dishes mostly, as well as a good quesadilla. Well, the dishes never disappoint. Last night I had a shrimp dish marinated in a Tequila lime roasted red pepper marinade with fresh grilled vegetables on the side - it was absolutely delicious! It rivaled some pretty good Westchester and NYC places where have eaten at about 1/2 the price. Please go here so it doesn't close as very often we are one of only a few tables eating there. You can take the kids as well. And the service is always excellent with a smile. My only complaint would be that I can do without the cheese on top of my nice house salad. Really a nice find! more
