My husband gave me a gift certificate for a day of wellness at L'essence. I knew I was in for a treat when i drove up to the salon... a historical, victorian house, really beautif...

Worst

First I have to say NEVER have this procedure done there, go to Eyelash Connection. Second, if you have any other work done there, pay by credit card so you can dispute the charg...

I have pedicures done here somewhat regularly. Their spa pedicures are the best in town if you need serious work done on your feet. If you have calluses this is the place to go for beautiful soft feet. The aromatherapy and the atmosphere is wonderful. The nail staff is friendly and easy to talk with. more

Just what you would expect from an Aveda salon, high quality, good service, and nice atmosphere. Given the choice between this one and the one down at Summit Sierra (which is also good), I think this is slightly better (and definitely a more beautiful building--a an old Victorian house that's been converted to a salon).. more

L'essence Day Spa is a great Aveda salon. I am partial to Aveda products because when I get my hair colored, I don't like it to smell I just was hit with a chlorine bomb. When I leave, my hair always feels soft and looks fabulous! more

Accomodating, great experience 6/13/2011

Lovely space in restored Victorian, had a great 90-min session from JaNon (sp?) who was very accomodating when I requested lotion instead of oil for my Swedish massage. Liked the use of aromatherapy and heated table and towels incorporated into the Aveda experience. Would definitely go back! more
