i recently purchased an ATV ( before Christmas 06) from Long Cycle and Marine in Bayshore,NY. It was the most horrible purchase experience i ever had. The day that i picked up my new ATV, the sales person hit me with charges that he never told me about when we made the deal, then my new ATV would not start, so i had to leave it there till the next day, which they told me that they were going to deliverer it to my house. The day that the delivery was supposed to be made i finished work early and i called the sales guy and told him that i was going to pickup my ATV so he wouldn't have to deliverer it to my house him self. We loaded my ATV on my truck and i went home. Two weeks later, i got a call from the salesman to call him back. I called him back and he told me that there was a problem with the paper work, that the serial number on my ATV did not match the serial number on the paper work and i had to go back to do new paper work. They gave me the wrong ATV. I asked if i could go there around 7 pm and he told me that there wouldn't be any body there that would take care of that at that time. The next day i left work 3 hours early to go there to take care of the situation, i waited approx. 1 and a half hours for them to rewrite new bill of sale. I asked the salesman what they were going to do for me for all my inconvenience and the 3 hours that i had lost from work, the salesman told me that he had to talk to the manager. The manager came to me telling me that he did not understand what i wanted, that they could not do anything for me. Is this how you do business? Is this how you treat your customers, and want them to come back and bring new customers to them? I don't recommend anybody to shop at this dealership,unless you want to be mistreaded like a customer be.
