ordered contacts through them after my appointment even though my gut was telling me to go to 1800Contacts. The pick up date was June 3rd.
Due to a family emergency I had to go out of town for a few weeks. I called to say someone else was coming to get them and they said that because of HIPPA I had to fax it in writing. That seemed reasonable enough, but the salesman I talked to was very abrupt and unpleasant. I sent the fax and called back 30 minutes later to make sure they'd received it. The same abrupt salesman answered and put me on hold for TEN MINUTES. How long does it take to find a fax?! I hung up and called back.
Someone else answered and within 60 seconds told me there was no fax received. I re-faxed and called back 15 minutes later.
A third sales person answered and confirmed receipt of the fax--but wait, she asked if I had ever received a call from them saying my contacts were indeed in. I said no, and off she went to investigate. ANOTHER TEN MINUTES ON HOLD. Again, I hung up and called back.
I was greeted by the first salesman, who, after I explained the situation, put me on hold for five minutes only to come back and tell me that yup, they'd received the fax. I ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT! Did they have my contacts? He had no idea.
Another five minutes on hold. He comes back--its missing a box. I yelled at him that my pick up date had been June 3rd so how were they STILL missing a box? He gave me a shpiel about new employees and people putting orders in regular stock and off he went to look. After *another* five minutes on hold he came back and said that no, one box was indeed missing. I expressed my outrage and demanded that they mail me the missing box, as I had no desire to ever set foot in there again. He agreed and...as I had been all day, I hung up.
The eye exam was satisfactory, if pricey, but DO NOT ORDER CONTACTS FROM HERE. Use 1800Contacts instead. Save yourself the time and aggravation I wasted with these people.
