Do you want the best breakfast in Clearwater? Then Lenny's is the place to go. It is family owned and operated. Yes, there once was a Lenny! The service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious. One of the best things, besides the food, at Lenny's is the staff. From the servers to the cashier, they actually care that you are having a good experience with them.
Lenny's is open for breakfast and lunch only. Their lunches are really good too, but whenever I visit I just have to get breakfast there. Breakfast is served all day.
During the week, if you go during the lunch rush, you may have to wait for a table for a few minutes. All of the local business people are regulars.. If you go for breakfast on a Sunday morning, be prepared to wait a while for a seat. Lenny's is so busy on Sunday, they run out of parking places.Don't worry about the wait though, you'll meet lots of interesting people from all over the world while you wait.
Many of the breakfast are served with a danish basket. If you haven't finished it when you are ready to go, they give you a doggy bag to take the danish with you... and you don't even have to ask!
I once heard Lenny's described as having the atmosphere of a Philly or New York diner. Since I've never eaten in either city, I can't tell you if this is true, but I do know Lenny's does have the friendly atmosphere of Clearwater!
