A lot of these reviews will tell you Fong Chong, or Jin Wah, are the best dim sum places and even though they are much closer to my home, the drive out there really is justified w...

Fabulous Traditional Cantonese Dim Sum 11/9/2002

You have to love and hate the noisy environment at Legin. But, that is what the traditional Chinese would do in a Chinese restaurant -- they meet, gather and talk. Dim sum is VERY NICE although it sometimes lack a variety when you are there later than 12 p.m. on Sundays. more

This was a miss for my wife and myself, we try to stay in a budget, and while that's hard with Chinese food in general, this place was just too expensive and the food to mediocre for us. Also was very crowded and noisy during a WEEKDAY. We left hungry, broke, and disappointed. Pros: Neat fish tanks, Large seating area, Service is good Cons: Too expensive, Too crowded, Long wait for food more

Good food, good service 9/4/2002

I've been to Legin 3 times, always on the weekend, for lunch twice and dinner once. All three times my food was good, served promptly, and I enjoyed it very much. I haven't been for dim sum, though. And I've never experienced the service problem. I would recommend Legin. Pros: lots of menu choices, lots of seating, lots of parking more

Dinner was good 9/2/2002

I wandered in w/o knowing anything about it. It was not crowded and we were seated quickly, the service was fine, and the food was good. I would recommend to Chinese people and people staying at airport hotels. There were plenty of real Chinese people there, mostly in the bar and banquet hall. Lots of vegetarian selections but the cashew-veg-tofu in a noodle bowl had unidentifiable cubed white substance. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It might of been a vegetable but seemed kind of fish-y. more

dim sum addiction! 6/20/2002

My friends and I have never had a bad experience at Legin. The service has always been great, and if you show a desire to learn what the various dishes are the servers are more than happy to give you the chinese name. The food is hot and they always are willing to bring out things that aren't on the carts. Pros: great food, inexpensive, lots of selection Cons: Noisey, longer dim sum hours more

Consistent food and service 5/30/2002

Pretty good salt and pepper squid (not too much batter and enough squid in each piece). Better than acceptable service for a Asian restaurant although sometimes I feel somewhat forgotten when in the middle room. Pros: plenty of tables, easy parking more
