We hired Legacy Cleaners to come clean our home prior to us selling our home in Sun Prairie. Anna had come to give us our estimate, and after walking through our 1800 sq ft ranch style home, she quoted us 8 hours of work at $30/hr. We thought that was a tad high, but they insisted they would do a spectacular job. We were under a bit of a time crunch, so we went ahead and gave them the job. \r

Keep in mind, our house was relatively clean and organized as we were preparing to sell it. We were looking for the ""deep clean"" to make it shine. The day arrived, and they came at 8am as I was leaving for work. It was just Anna, but she said others were on the way. I received a call from them at noon saying that the cleaning took longer than expected, and in fact they were there for a total of 12 hours (3 people cleaning for 4 hours)!! I was not happy about this, and felt as though we may have been taken for ride. They agreed to only charge us 10 hours ($300), and I said fine as long as the house was a spectacular as they said it would be. \r

When we arrived home, the house did look cleaner. We were impressed with the bathroom and kitchen. But then we started taking a closer look and realized many of the items they said they would do, were not done. I took several pictures of areas that were just flat out missed. Mostly, it was the dusting that was missed, but it was missed BAD! I even took photographs of the work that wasn't done. The frustrating thing, is that during the original walkthrough when we got the estimate those exact places were discussed!\r

In the end, we paid the $300 and spent a few hours cleaning what they missed afterwards. Chalk it up to us not doing our research and being too trusting. We will never use them again.
