This is a popular Middle Eastern restaurant in the DC area. When I first moved to the area in 1999, they only had 1 restaurant, and they have now expanded to 4 restaurants. Everyone of them are packed each weekend. So you would think I would have great things to say about this restaurant. Let's just say when I have eat there with Arab friends, they aren't impressed. All my non-Arab friends, who don't regularly eat Middle Eastern, enjoy the food. Their appetizers are very good. Try the HOMMOS BEL SHAWARMA (hummus with meat or lamb), the Lebneh (tasty strained yogurt mixed with olive oil and paprika), or grape leaves (grapes leaves rolled with rice, chick peas and tomatoes). For the dinner, I recommend the chicken shawarma. It comes with rice and tomatoes. They have a cup of garlic to dip your shawarma in. The garlic is excellent and if you feel the garlic is strong, don't worry. There are cups of mouth wash in the bathroom so you can rinse your mouth!
