Le Petit Puppy is by far the best puppy store I've been in / experienced. The staff is very friendly and informative. I come in here very few weekends to visit the new pups in the store and to say Hello to Steve who is the best ever! When I finally buy a pup, It will be from Le Petit Puppy:) more

I wasn't really looking for a puppy, I guess she found me here. She is a really great dog, no matter where she was bred. I have never had a full breed dog before, always rescues. She is a brussels griffon who is VERY friendly to all,people, esp. children,and animals; non aggressive, smart as hell and so darn cute, its hard to believe. The owner of the store is fanatical about matching the dog to the person and will absolutely not sell you a dog that she believes is not right for you. She will give you her cell number if you are a new dog owner and you can call her anytime of day or night if you have a situation with an animal that you got from her. While walking my dog in my neighborhood, I have met at least 3 people who told me that they got their dog here and they are very happy with their animal. I highly recommend this place and ask questions if you have a doubt. more

I got my puppy here and had an amazing experience. He is sweet as can be, came fully vaccinated, and well socialized with people, dogs, and even cats! I go back on a regular basis for puppy supplies, and the staff is always helpful and has great training advice, even when they are otherwise busy. more

I was just strolling down Christopher Street and noticed a few puppies in the window chewing on glass and wood. I'm not sure how long these dogs are kept on display, but the owners seemed to care less about them. more

DO NOT SUPPORT PUPPY MILL (AKA ""SMALL PRIVATE BREEDERS"") 12/8/2011

The owner and manager both claim that they only deal with ""small, private breeders"" who specialize in ""one or two breeds"" this is a complete lie. They deal with Puppy Mill's. They not only ""carry"" Tri-bred puppy's but they claim that their dogs were and are in fact inspected by their veterinarian upon arrival. Guaranteeing that their animals are ""fit for sale."" As if they were a luxury purse or sweater. When called to confirm if my dog was in fact examined at that veterinarian the animal hospital had no chart, history, or info of the examination. Unless you want to spend a disgusting $3,000 on an inbred puppy with pre-existing congenital genetic mutations such as GME for example, or spend that amount on a puupy with Giardia, Ring-worm, etc. then DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PET STORE. Please support local shelters they have puppies and young adult dogs as well. more

Icarus Flare was six months old when I met him (and took him home!) at Petit Puppy, and I have to say, he came to me healthy, happy and most important, so very well socialized, which proves, a posteriori, that the staff spent a lot of quality time with him while he lived there! He loves other dogs, people, was simple to paper train etc. The staff are great, knowledgeable and very friendly making it a great place to meet your 'new best friend'. Great selection of coats, too. more

Happy owner of two dogs from Le Petit Puppies 6/25/2011

I have two beautiful, healthy, and happy Yorkies from Le Petit Puppies. I got both dogs as puppies from the store; one is four years old; the other is three. The store is terrific -- helpful staff, high quality supplies, and so many gorgeous puppies to choose from. I've also had both dogs groomed there and was very happy with how gorgeous they looked afterwards. I highly recommend this store! more

Love my baby dog! Thank you so much 12/1/2010

I bought a Peagle (pekingese and a Beagle mix) The most adoring puppy you ever seen , the puppy is sweet and affectionate , easy going , and yet playful when i want him . He can walk for hours but will sleep all day if I let him. He is the love of my life,!!! I cant thank enough the staff and the owner for being so nice and patient with me. I took my time to get my Bamby ( I named him that because he has such a innocent droopy eyes) and they never pushed me or rushed me. I m so happy I got my dog the best decision I ever mad, the best money I ever spend and I cant thank no one but Le Petit Puppy for bringing that joy to my life. more

Do research! 12/12/2009

Update: We settled in Small Claims Court and the store owner came through on the settlement. I thought about removing my review and I even told the owner that I would, but after much reflection, I am leaving it up to warn people to do their research first before ever making a purchase of a pet through a pet store. Based on my experience with this puppy store, I would suggest that you purchase a pet through a reputable breeder that will stand behind their pets. It will cost you more, but it will be well worth it! Again, it is worth investigating a breeder first and not fall in love with dogs in a pet store's window that could possibly come from unknown sources. I want to be fair to the store and as I said, it may be different for others, but we ended up paying thousands of dollars in vet bills in our puppy's short life! Our new puppy, from a breeder, is doing great!! Pros: Clean Cons: Not enough space more
