As might be expected by the name, the menu tends toward French and changes seasonally. Prices are in the moderate range. The atmosphere is casual and has a warmth about it. As a matter of fact, there is very little that is pretentious about the place. The wait staff are attentive and timing of order to delivery acceptable. Each dish I have had at this restaurant has been exceptional. I particularly like their poultry dishes. The Coq Au Vin is particularly good. They have a respectable wine list and the upper-end wines are moderately priced. On the whole, Le Coq Au Vin is somewhere I would not hesitate to take a guest. More importantly, I will go there again...and again, myself.
