Le Bonheur Children's Pediatric Emergency Department - Germantown

Never in a million years would I have thought that I would receive the type of treatment that I received in this hospital?s ER March 11, 2011. I have been searching and searching for a venue to voice my concerns but I?m just now finding one. That night my child (13 year old son) collapsed and later we found out that he had a congenital heart defect. Long story short, when he was admitted to this hospital, we were treated wonderful by the ambulance and nursing staff but that ER doctor was HORRIFIC!!! He actually quoted prices of services to us for different procedures that had to be performed on my son. Not only was his bedside manner rude and atrocious, when he was giving my family by son?s diagnosis, he was very abrupt, cold hearted and when I fell to my knees in tears, proceeded to inform me that he would call security if I didn?t ?get off the floor?. I was not erratic or screaming, just crying and sort of lost my balance emotionally. We could NOT believe this guy more

I would like to thank the staff on the fourth floor (West). I received the best customer service. They were patient and kind. Thanks again, for the best care, Methodist-Healthcare Germantown-PROFESSIONALS. JOB WELL DONE!! more

I went in to their E.R. for kidney stones. Seven hours later I got to leave. It was good care but it took forever. I sat in the waiting room 2 hours in terrible pain. I could have understood the wait if they were busy but they weren't. \r I will never go to Methodist Germantown E. R. again, unless I'm unable to protest. more

I have turned to Germantown Methodist multiple times in the past few years. The ER is always fast and efficient, I've never had to wait longer than 1 hour to be seen. I also delivered my first child at Germantown Methodist. The staff was fantastic, the nurses were incredibly nice and helpful as well! Six weeks after my c-section, I was admitted for an emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. Again, all staff were extremely helpful, very knowledgable and incrediby friendly. I will turn to Germantown Methodist anytime i need a hospital in the future! more

I have never been more impressed with a hospitals birthing center. I was able to register before my baby was born so it made it easier when I went in to have my baby. I delivered my baby in the same room as where I was in labor for those few hours. Spacious birthing rooms are a plus. And the care you get during labor and after is superior. I would recommend this hospital to any one having a baby. more
