Laytons Garage - a downtown institution 7/14/2011

Never had any issues with service here and have used this garage for over 15 years. Always fair and reliable, but like everywhere, sometimes the first fix may not solve the issue. They always stand by their work, though, unlike other garages. I have NEVER been dissatisfied with their work or charges. BE ADVISED though, this place is really BUSY (another sign of a reliable shop) and scheduling is necessary. Wish they were bigger!!! more

DON'T USE THIS GARAGE 3/29/2011

I will never use this garage again for any reason. I came in with my right rear tail lights out and they charged me $176.00 to replace a fuse and fix a wire in the fuse panel. Parts were $2.00 and the rest was labor and tax. To top it off, I checked the rear lights when I got off work and they were NOT WORKING!!! I took the car back the next day and asked if there was going to be an additional charge. I was told (smiling) that it must be another problem, that the lights worked when I left the day before. They would have to check it out AGAIN .......Well, they got me once, but not twice!!!!!!! WHAT A RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more
