Decent Sports Bar...bad dance club 10/28/2007

Went out Thursday night to watch World Series game...decent sports bar w/ diverse crowd, young & old, black & white, fat & skinny, etc. The sports bar was pretty good, but the back room, which was turned into a dance club this night, was atrocious...fat chicks grinding on each other, vanilla ice looking guys dancing around, etc. I drank a couple of Makers & waters, had a few good laughs at the people stuck in the 90s, and then walked up the street to a better atmosphere. Pros: Sports bar was good Cons: Dance Club in the back was cheesy more

Business Is Good! 3/24/2005

I went to this restaurant on the border of Adams-Morgan and Dupont Circle on a Tuesday night. Good thing that I got there at 630pm. By 7pm, the place was packed! The selection is huge, ranging from the standard Mexican fare (burritos, enchiladas) to more exotic Latin fare (Cuban skirt steak, Spanish paella). Service was good, fast and efficient, which is a plus. Overall, I was very impressed! Also, I was surprised that the place was filled up even on a weeknight, considering their capacity (split level seating, plus outdoor patio). My only advice is to expect a wait during the prime dining hours as they do not take reservations. Pros: Variety, Decor, Service Cons: No Reservations, Ventilation more
