My LaserAway Experience 2/23/2012

I had a great experience here recently. My girlfriend talked me into trying Juvederm to get a more refreshed look around my eyes. It's Hollywood, and we are all looking for fountain of youth tricks, so I figured I'd try it out. I'll admit like most people I'm not a fan of needles and pretty much any procedures like this, but the staff made this a very, very comfortable experience. The PA, Lucy, told me she had performed thousands of these procedures and that really put my mind at ease. It was quick and painless (thanks Lucy!). I was a bit nervous but I really didn't need to be. I'm really glad I did it. My girlfriend says i look 10 years younger! If you're thinking about getting any kind of cosmetic treatment, I'd definitely recommend going to LaserAway. more

I have become a laser hair removal snob, and I have to say Laser Away is one of the best. I have had underarms and the um...""brazilian area"" done so far and it doesn't hurt at all (you can feel it, but it's not painful - maybe a 2 or 3 on a pain scale from 1 to 10 - and that's coming from a super sensitive person!). Highly recommended! more

I Love Laser Away 9/10/2010

Laser Away has helped me for my hair removal needs. Since I model, removing unsightly hair is a must. The staff here has been very friendly to me and answered any questions I've had throughout the entire hair removal process. I am now free to book all kinds of modeling gigs thanks to Laser Away. The only bad thing about this location is that the parking isn't good. Besides that, everything was perfect and I give my recommendation to everyone. more

NO MORE HAIR 5/18/2009

Like many other men out there, I hate shaving! Especially shaving the lower neck hair. The line of where my beard grows started to go lower down my neck and become very uncomfortable. I would often get ingrown hairs and razor bumps. After hearing about Laser Away from a friend, I decided to ask about Laser Hair Removal to see what I can do about this bear problem. After 2 weeks of looking at different Hair Removal places, I chose to go to Laser Away. They removed the beard hair from just under my chin to where my adams apple is. I am now a happy man who loves shaving because I don't have to deal with ingrown hairs/razor bumps on my neck anymore! Pros: They do a great job, The staff is friendly, Good Prices Cons: None that I can think of more

Laser Away saved my life! 5/18/2009

I went to Laser Away after a friend had told me what a great job they do. I went in for hair removal on an unsightly patch of hair on my lower back. I've always hated going to the beach because of it. But now, thanks to Laser Away, I can wear a bikini with no worries! Pros: Great results, friendly staff, affordable prices more

I said I was going to write LaserAway a great review and I meant it! I came from Neoskin which went out of business (eventhough I had a package with them with three treatments left). My friend recommended LaserAway and they actually gave me a FREE treatment because they felt bad about my little ordeal. The staff was great and I think the whole thing was a blessing in disguise cuz LaserAway is so much better. I truly reccomend this place. Best in Botox? 10/2/2008

Since laser Away claims to be ""Best in Botox"" I went here for my first Botox injections of early last month. I thought it was good but probably not the best. I should have know better but I believed their advertising. The nurse did it as there was no doctor there. I didn't even know nurse could give Botox! She was really pretty. She was also really sweet and spent a lot of time with me as she wasn't busy that day. She said she hasn't seen the medical director in months because he was filming a television show. I would have given my experience 2 stars but the staff was really pushy and tried to sell me products so I averaged my score to 1 star but it really should be 1 and a half stars. I have two small bruises on my forehead and a medium sized bruise in between my eyebrows but they say that's pretty normal when they do Botox. I can cover the bruising with liquid make up from Mac especially now that's it green and yellow. When it was purple a few weeks back it was more difficult to cover. The botox is starting to wear off after five and a half weeks and when I called they said that can be normal for your first time so I'm pretty pleased. I think I'll try going to my regualr dermatologist next time to see if I have have a different experience but for my first Botox shots I think Laser Away is pretty good! Presto Tattoo removal! 10/1/2008

My brother works as an LA county firefighter and they just passed a rule that you can't work on the job with visable tattoos, so he went into Laser Away in early October. After two treatments the tat is almost gone already. I'm getting my tat removed too now. The people are really cool inside and it is not too expensive. more

Is this place going out of business? 9/29/2008

I heard this place was going out of business from a friend but it seems to still be open. I'm always shopping around for cheap Botox and I poked my head in here one day but it was empty. I also called once and they ""didn't have any Botox"" that day which I thought was weird. Can anyone comment? Just wondering. Thank you. Pros: Looks nice Cons: Looks empty more

I've actually heard a lot of bad things about Laser Away since I've been there from other people I know. I had an okay experience I guess, but I don't have any reason to go back since there are a lot of other places where you can get the same thing done for the same price in a better environment (at least that's what I'm finding out as I do more research). Thinking back, the staff didn't seem all that informed on what they were doing. I'm probably going to look into another place to go (I get tattoo removal and hair removal and occasionally some botox, but I only got tattoo removal at Laser Away one time). If this was the only place to go to, I'd probably keep on going, but like I said, this is LA - there's a million other place to get the same things done. Might as well go to one that gives me more confidence in what they're doing next time. Cons: Staff didn't seem very well informed on the specifics of their services more

Pretty good - not great. 4/19/2008

My friend gave me a coupon for hair removal here so I tried it. It's pretty good. It's not great. There are much better places. I won't go here again because the prices aren't impressive and the nurse seemed rushed for no good reason as the lobby was empty. The one weird thing is that they kept calling me for another appointment. That turned me off I guess. Also the front staff is totally clueless. Pros: It's fine - no real ""pros"" per se... Best I've found 1/6/2008

I'm a laser hair removal vet. I've had treatments all over LA. So far, Laseraway seems to be the best when it comes to results and pricing. I've had two treatments and have seen better results than all my previous treatments at other spots combined. more

Most Amazing Laser Hair Removal in West LA 12/10/2006

My first experience with Laser Hair Removal with Brigitte Knight was fast, easy, and virtually painless! She's incredibly patient, lots of fun, and makes the process go very quickly. She helps prepare you, and gives great encouragement, not to mention, the results are phenomenal. The center is very comfortable, nearby (I visted the Westwood Salon), and quiet. The laser approach is faster, easier, and neater than waxing, shaving, or epilating products. I did not have burning, scarring, peeling or even any ""after effects"" of the treatment. It was as if it didn't happen, but it has been over 1 month, and I cannot believe how a 3 minute treatment has remained so effective! Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable. I now prefer laser hair removal, and will be using it for everything, and completely chucking my razor & wax forever! more

I am amazed by the results.....after only one session I have seen a significan t reduction in hair growth...i must admit that i was a bit skeptical prior to my first session.....the nurse is professional, kind + thorough in her explanation of the process....i would HIGHLY recommend laser away!!!! more

Most knowledgeable and caring staff in LA! 11/29/2006

I have had laser hair removal at a lot of places over the past decade with varying success and a lot of ""assembly line"" type treatment. The nurse at Laser Away was very knowledgeable and took the time to find out what I knew and what I expected. She patiently explained the how, why and when of what I wanted done so I could make a good decision. I just melted into her caring arms and have been well cared for ever since. They even talked me out of doing stuff!! Unheard of! Go for the quality and price, stay for the fresh, upbeat and fun environment. Pros: Fun, hip, yet professional. Priced for the Everyman. Cons: Meter Parking....they give you quarters to help you out though. more
