We got married at The Lakehouse Inn (Perkasie, PA) Friday, May 17, 2013. If you know the venue then you know everyone gets this venue to be married outside on their beautiful property on Lake Nockamixon. I loved that the Lakehouse Inn had 10 rooms for you and 18 of your guest to stay there. The décor in the Inn is breath taking. They have wood-burning fireplaces, stone-walled basement and a wine cellar with wine tasting. The grooms room is as I like to call it a ""man cave"" with the big bar, big flat screen TV, a pool table, and very big couch. The groom and his groom’s men were very relaxed the day of the wedding watching the baseball game and playing pool drinking their beer and eating their pretzels. The bridal sweet is beautiful! It has 2 bathrooms, makeup room, TV, king size bed, and 2 walkout balcony's that overlook the Nockamixon State Park and Lake. I along with all my bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom were very relaxed getting pampered with are hair and makeup artist, sipping on Champagne and eating our cheese, fruit, and cracker tray. \r \r The ballroom is amazing with the gorgeous chandelier, water trickling down the stone wall, and the roses that were etched into the stone dance floor. They also have an after party for you and your guest that stay with you at the inn at the outdoor fire pit, with beer/wine and pizza. What could be better than that? The food was absolutely amazing! Every single one of my guest raved about how much food there was and how delicious everything was and that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. \r \r Anthia and Heather were amazing with helping me with all of my questions and concerns. If I emailed or called them they got back to me the same day no matter what day it was! They kept my wedding on schedule and made sure my husband and I sat down to eat while the food was hot. Everyone told me that nobodies wedding is perfect and not to get my hopes up if something goes wrong, well I am please to say this is NOT TRUE if you get married at The Lakehouse Inn. My wedding was beyond PERFECT! I highly recommend The Lakehouse Inn for you wedding!\r \r The Lakehouse Inn uses Jeffrey A. Miller Catering. The food they made was AMAZING! Everybody raved about how much food there was and how delicious everything was. When you go to a wedding everybody knows that having more than enough food for your guest is extremely important. When I go to another wedding I don't want to get the chicken because it is always dry, this is defiantly not the case for JAM. The chicken at my wedding was so juicy and flavorful. We had grilled caesar salads for our first course and it was DELICOUS!!! Our cake was a chocolate chip pound cake with butter cream icing and I know buttercream icing because it was my favorite and they make REAL buttercream for the icing. I could continue to tell you all the other foods we had at our wedding but the list would go on and on. Everything at our wedding was like being at a 5 star restaurant. I highly recommend using JAM for catering needs.\r \r We also used Buttercup Florist is Jeffrey Miller Catering's floral division. Tom at Buttercup was so helpful and has great ideas. He helped me as the bride stay calm and assured me my Wedding Flowers, Centerpieces, Ceremony Arch & Cake Flowers would be everything I ever wanted and more. I gave them by budget and what I wanted and they made it happen. My wedding flowers were beyond PERFECT! They knew my venue inside and out which really helped. Everything was extremely easy since I used Jeffrey Miller Catering because Buttercup Florist is their subdivision and they were able to communicate easily since they work together. I would highly recommend using Buttercup Florist, your wedding flowers will be everything you always and more! more
