My husband and I got Valentine's Day massages for our trip to San Francisco. Mine was fine - although for some reason the floor squeaked anytime the masseuse moved, so it was a bit distracting. My husband, on the other hand, was very disappointed with his. He suffered from cystic acne as a teenager and has bad scars on his back, and still has some minor outbreaks when he is stressed. His masseuse took one look at his back & said "Um, I'm going to wear gloves, it looks like you're, uh, having an allergic reaction. Gross." She then barely touched him the whole massage, even though she put on gloves & he'd asked for deep tissue work. He was not having any sort of back acne at the time. I will NOT come back to this spa, as it ruined our Valentine's Day and really insulted my husband. We were paying THEM to relax us, and therefore they did not have the right to insult us and make him feel bad about himself. more

It has been 4 hours since I left La Petite Rose and I haven't stopped thinking about what a wonderful experience it has been. I got the best facial experience since a while, and after I was done, my hair wasn't messed up and my face didn't feel icky like from other places. My face actually feels clean and rested. In the nicely decorated room setting, I felt that I was closed off from the stresses of my daily life. The prices and packages are very reasonable and I like that Mandy is very professional and the atmosphere of the salon is very clean, neat, and tidy. I just went to La Petite Rose to receive my spa day treatment. I am really enjoy the facial and massage. I feel like a new person after I walked out from the spa. I pay a reasonable price for a high end spa treatment. I like the paraffin hand dip and hand & arm massage which most of the spa out there need to pay extra for this treatment. For the massage, the therapist really work on my shoulder and lower. After the massage, they use a warm towel to wipe down massage lotion and at last they spray a nice aromatherapy mist to end the massage. At last the wax is awesome. This is my first time to do Brazilian wax, and lost of friends told me it will be hurt but it turns out it is not that bad and the esthetician talk to me all the time so that it will distract me from the waxing. I will maintain on it for every month. I will definitely go back to La Petite Rose to get my monthly facial and waxing. Pros: Clean, reasonable price and quite more

I've been going to La Petite Rose for over a year for my facials and totally think it's the best spa in SF. Mandy does a great job and spends a lot of time on ensuring that the facial and the products she uses are right for my face. Their prices are amazing for the amount of work they do. I've been to places where the person doing my facial leaves for 15 minutes while the mask is drying. At La Petite Rose, Mandy gives you a neck, should, hand massage. The facilities are clean and relaxing. Mandy has recommended a few products for my face and I never had any allergic reaction to them. I did the ear & naval candle last sun at la petite rose. This place is nice and clean. Mandy did a very good job, her technique, customer service is excellent. Also the ear candle has a significant result to my face, the naval candle makes my stomach and my body circulation feel much better. I did make my 2nd appointment for massage and encore both candles treatment. Definetly refer to my friends. Highly recommand this place. Good Job! Pros: Easy parking. Friendly service more

I am really surprise when I want into La Petite Rose. It is the nicest spa in San Francisco Sunset District. I got the 55min facial and 60min massage. The facial is awesome, warm bed with a comfortable down blanket, nice facial, neck and shoulder massage. After the facial, I feel like my skin is firm and nice lift. This is by far the best spa I've ever been to. Mandy is simply amazing! She really knows her stuff, and she's super gentle with her touch. With a very affordable price, I was pampered with a wonderful massage, as well as a paraffin hand dip, with my facial. It is definitely worth every penny! This is a best SPA I never been. Nice staff, environment, music and more!! great 75 mins facial, including hand, neck and shoulder message, it made me relax during the treatment. The professional facialist will find out my skin problem and educated me how to solve the problem. After I tried the sample, it works great. I also purchased some products from them, it really works; my pore were gone, my skin is softer and smoother than before. They did not encourage me to purchase anything, it's all my choice. There's no place like this. I really recommended everybody to try this great place, it's nearby us in SF. I sampled a few dayspas during spa week and this was by and far the best! The facialist was amazing: when the mask was setting she provided a top-notch hand, arm, shoulder, neck and scalp massage. The attention to detail was impressive, from the paraffin hand dip in the beginning to ending with a cup of rose tea. This place is truly a gem. And, in the days of overpriced spa treatments, truly a good value for the money! I just have a 60mins massage today. I have the best massage ever. They just have massage this year and the massage therapist Vanessa is the best. She knows every spot and the pressure is really really good. It helps to release my tension. I am highly recommend her if you get the massage. She will only their on Tue, Wed, Thurs and Sat afternoon. Remember to call first for the appt. After you have a massage from her, you really want to go back to more often.
