LPA is a wonderful school with highly qualified staff who care the kids and love their jobs. My toddler loves going to "school" and hanging out with his friends all day. He usually runs to the front door every morning. Because LPA is a large organization, they have very high standards and procedures set in place for every event, yet the teachers are able to be spontaneous and creative with their time. They have a detailed year long curriculum -- even for the toddlers -- and send each child home with a daily report on what he or she did that day. I love knowing what my son did for the day and who he's been hanging out with. They have a huge play ground in the back yard, making travel unnecessary. They often have visitors such as musicians, sports coaches, traveling petting zoos, and throughout the summer they periodically have a massive inflatable bouncer in the back yard. I love that they have an online payment system with the option of automatic payment so I don't have to worry about more

Situated in an old house, this small school is cozy and "homey" and includes a huge outdoor play area. Only 27 children in the center mean mine gets lots of love and attention all day long. Also, being a small center my toddler gets to know all of the other children and teachers and that will make her transitions easier.\r \r The center follows a national curriculum and focuses on education and sensory experiences. They spend ample time teaching topics relevant to the age group, have fun messy art projects, and free play time.\r \r You have to provide your own meals but for an organic-naturalist mom like me, that is a blessing!\r \r My daughter is very happy here for almost a year now, and has developed exceptionally well under their care.\r \r I cannot say enough about the director, Elizabeth. When the toddler teacher quit, she did not just hire anyone to fill the spot. She took the time to find the right person, and personally worked extra to cover the toddler room for 4 months!
