We love Le Zie. It's noisy, the tables are right on top of each other, the service is just ok, but the food, the food is wonderful. Their regular menu is very good. The pastas have an authentic Italian feel to them with great ingredients and simple style. Ditto everything else on their regular menu. The real strength of the chef comes out however, in the fine offering of inventive specials which are worth hearing about from the wait staff who will recite them dutifully.I remember a grilled sardine appetizer my wife and I shared there recently that was just wonderful, fresh and perfectly cooked. From the bread they serve with olive oil when you sit to their very nice dessert offerings Le Zie is a place where you can take an Italian and be confident they will appreciate the experience.
Pros: Venitian appetizers, magnificent fish, great soups, pastas, food, food, food
Cons: Can feel crowded and noisy
