LA Bliss spa is underhanded, unprofessional, and shady.
My girlfriend and I received a Groupon for LA Bliss Spa as a Christmas gift from our friends, knowing that she suffer's from a bad back, and also that we love to get massages together. It was for one 60 minute couples aromatherapy or hot stone massage. Over the course of the past 4 weeks we called in 4 separate times in the morning to see if they had any availability for this couples massage at any point in time during there hours of operation for that day. As they checked for availability my girlfriend politely let them know in advance that we are also using a Groupon for this. The second they heard they let her know that there is no more availability for the day. After the first few time's of getting denied it almost became comical, hearing there different excuses. Some days they would say things like "Ya we already took our fill of Groupons for the day" or would just flat out say there are no more availability's, but the moment Groupon was mentioned there was no chance of getting a massage booked.
HERE'S WHERE IT GETS GOOD! After our fourth time my girlfriend was denied by this establishment I decided to call back myself and inquire about getting a couple's massage......but this time I didn't mention anything about a Groupon. Wouldn't you believe it. They were wide open for 60 minute couple's massage and she was telling me about there hot stone, and aromatherapy massage! So just to cover myself I asked about anytime in the evening in case the afternoon didn't work for us. She said anytime I like! They had availability's in the afternoon, and the evening! Now it's not the women on the phone that is causing the problem. It's the management, and the owner. Any business knows this.
This is bad business 101. LA Bliss Spa launch's Groupons to get more exposure, and than turns around and denies them the service. Or tells them they can use it on a week day..... ya know when your actually at work and can't afford to skip out for a couples massage.
