I called L T Nails (AKA: Foxy nails, or hot tip nails) and asked if they would be able to accomidate 7 people at 4:00 in the afternoon. I was told they could take 3 of us at 4:00 and the rest 15 min later, so i made the appointment. When we got to the salon there were only 3 nail techs and all of them were with clients. We ended up waiting about 15 min before one nail tech started on 2 of the our pedi's and then we waited about another 20 min before another nail tech started working on two more of our pedi's. They tag teamed us!
When we asked why they even took appointments if they were not going to honor the time, by accepting walk ins they had no answer and just kept saying they were sorry, but offered us no sort of compensation for the increduble inconvenience. More than anything I wish they would've just been honest about the time frame, and we would've made the appt for earlier. In the end we didnt even have enough time for all of us to get our pedicures done because of dinner reservations.
Also, the guy that painted my nails along with one other girl in our group used his long sharp thumb nail to scrape the nail polish off of our skin when he would mess up. I felt like I needed a tetanus shot after all was said and done.
While we were there another woman came in that had scheduled an appt, and was told she would have to wait 45 min or reschedule.
It was over 80 degrees inside the salon when we got there and after they heard us complain about the heat and we were going to leave they turned on the AC.
I had put this all behind me until i looked at my bank statement just to see that they had over charged my credit card for the service.
All-in-all, i would recommend going to a nail salon in the mall over this place.
