Impressive Customer Service 1/11/2010

I say there were no ""cons"" because even though there was a glitch - initially, the shower didn't drain correctly - they returned immediately - and cheerfully. Not only did they correct the problem but they were able to explain what had happened so that both I and my husband, who is an architect, were completely reassured. And you should see my shower! OMG! I personally interviewed several contractors - meeting with one in person - before selecting LC Flooring. I am very glad that I chose Martin and Beth LeBlanc/LC Flooring. It's not easy having workers in your home, but they were remarkably tidy, polite, and surprisingly unobtrusive. I recommend them VERY highly and without reservation. Pros: Tile work done with excellence and professionalism. more

In response to review by ccd007 1/8/2010

In response to the review posted by ccd007...aka Cynthia Darling of Eatonton, GA, we were her 3rd contractor already trying to complete a job that absolutely no one would have satisfied her. The first contractor she fired and the second contractor wrote a note on a piece of cardboard and left. The ONLY work that was not complete were the transitions that she had to order to match her wood. When they came in she called and started accusing us of holes in doors that were already there. The Maintenance Team in her condo could verify that for us. The holes were caused by the door stops. What she fails to say is all the extra work that was completed over and beyond the original scope of work. Painting of all quarter round, hanging of screen door, fixing cabinets, etc. We tried to be sympathetic to all issues she was having to overcome...but she was never happy with any solutions. For example...Martin told her that the refrigerator would not fit back under the cabinet even when the footings were completely lowered. He explained that the power cord coming out of the top was preventing the refrigerator from pushing under the cabinet. She argued that there was not a power cord then suggested we...""sand the tile to lower the refrigerator""! As a company, we have the right to not finish a job when the customers make it impossible to perform the job they were originally hired to do. more
