I am going to make this a short message. Food was great, didn't try the sushi, since I won't be returning, so I can't give my input.
The staff/chef's are friendly, and attentive, though the chef's at the hibachi seemed sad (not an understatement).
I've have been to the location in Rockwall twice, the first to take my boyfriend to the hibachi, as he has never been, or had the experience. I was expecting to have a fun time, as I have been to many hibachi's and I was incredibly let down. It was Saturday, the restaurant was packed, and I blamed the lack of the hibachi ""experience"" on busy tables. The chef, though friendly, performed two tricks, the flame, and the heart. The only thing that kept me coming back was to give the restaurant a chance to redeem itself (and the food was good).
Our second visit, we showed up during lunch hour, it was slow. Again, friendly staff, the chef was nice, as he said hello and answered questions, but resigned to ignore us (we were the only two at the hibachi table), and did one trick, then proceeded to cook our food (which was good).
I am sad to say that I had to youtube to show my boyfriend what the ""hibachi experience"" is like in order for him not to think I was crazy.
I will do my best to spread the word of how crappy this hibachi is; I feel sorry for Rockwall residents as they probably think the ""hibachi experience"" is just merely having their food cooked in front of them and it being tasty.
Here are two youtube clips that I showed to my boyfriend. It is horrible that he had to see the experience while we were sitting on the couch eating leftovers from the restaurant.
I hope the hibachi learns something from these two guys:
