trashed cars, smokers everywhere 4/8/2010

Live here at your own risk. If you just take a stroll through the parking lots, you'll find dented doors, key marks, bashed in headlights, and other serious damage to resident's vehicles. I got a huge dent in my car the first month here and had to file an insurance claim because the damage was so bad. There are also a lot of smokers here, although the office claims there aren?t. It carries into the ventilation system and makes it a dangerous place to live, breathing in smoke from your neighbors while you sleep. I would also have to agree that the rules are appied to some residents and not others. Our neighbors consistently do laundry at 2 am, at least six neighbors have canoes on their patios, and one of our neighbors has eight very loud wind chimes (all of those are against the rules). Do yourself a favor and google Riverstone Residential which is the property management group for this complex. Avoid any apartments run by these people because they don't handle complaints at all. Pros: r u kidding? Cons: smokers, no parking, noisy, expensive, bad management more

horrible place to live, nightmare to get out of 4/6/2010

Horrible place to live. Pam and Lacy in the office give out apartment keys like they're candy so your neighbors walk into your apt with their own key. No parking. Kruseway employees use carports for their own use and tenants pay for them. Appliances are old, don't work, and you can't get them fixed. The two Ryans in maintenance are nightmares. Getting a package from the office also a nightmare. Mailbox keys don't work. Noise from Kruse Way and Parkview Ave. Discrimination?your neighbors can have two carports; you and your spouse can't. If you're an attractive twenty-something male, and you're Pam and Lacy's type, you'll be pampered. Otherwise, they'll ignore your phone calls and maintenance requests. No closet space, no shelves, ""free"" cable is intermittent. No light fixtures, so bring a lot of lamps. No garages. No storage space. Trash and recycling center are on other end of complex, a really long haul. Go somewhere else. This place blows. Cons: unsafe, rampant discrimination, no maintenance more

Nice, but busy 9/1/2009

The amount of apartment you get for the rent is high. You are probably paying a little extra just because of the Lake Oswego name. You are in a safe location, and are close to the 217 and I-5 making shopping easy. The people are generally quiet, and I don't think there has been a break-in around the area. However, there is something always going on at these apartments. It may be the grounds keepers who once arrived at 7am, they may be pressure washing the walkways, or fixing the roof. You will also be paying for things you may never use. Like a little summer concert on the lawns that blasts loud music for the better part of the day, or a catered dinner in the club house. I would rather have 20 dollars knocked off my rent since I either need to be sleeping during these events, or am at work. The free parking is a plus, but it costs extra if you want a covered spot. Each apartment is nice inside, but as I said before you don't really get a lot for what you pay for. I don't have much in the way of stuff, but the kitchens are very small. Finally the staff. When I first started living here there were two really nice girls who worked in the leasing office. They have since left. What remains are three nice, but insincere, and relatively uncaring people. Over all about a 6.5 out of 10. Pros: Clean, safe, and good location Cons: Something always going on, no dogs, small kitchens more
