Check, Check and Check again 9/24/2014

I will never go here again!!!! Not only was the service suparb and you go to ANYONE available. My dental insurance requires that I go to a place that is in network, which Kool Smiles is, but that I also see an in-network Dentist. I advised this when I made the appt. and they also called to verify my insurance. The appt. was in March and I am on the phone for the SECOND time trying to get this fixed. There is a reason why they verify insurance and despite this, I am still being penalized. The lack of Competence is overwhelming. more

Horrible!!! 3/24/2014

My kids had an appointment at Kool Smiles today on Forest Drive. My 4 year old normally loves getting his teeth cleaned, but today he was scared and didn't want to be there. He was swinging his arms at ME, I had to sit down in the chair and hold him. Before the hygienist even did anything she got in my sons face and yelled at him, "Look at you, why are you doing this. You will not bite me, and you will not hit me do you understand!!" Then she went on to yell, "I'm not your mother and I will not allow you to hit me!" As if I'm allowing him to hit me....There were 4 other hygienists in the office watching as well as 2 doctors, and other patients, and parents. Not one staff member corrected her for yelling at a 4 year old, or insulting me. That sent me over the edge and I jumped up and yelled right back at her, then took both my kids and left. I don't understand how she thought yelling at a scared child would calm him down, and how insulting me was acceptable. This place is very unprofessional, I would not recommend any one taking their children here!!! more
