I go to see Dr. Walling, she is so friendly and always remembering everything year to year, even details of where I work (local healthcare) and my children. I think she is wonderful. However, her staff is rude at times. Picking out glasses is their choice, they are not easy to deal with. My daughter has gone back for adjusting of her glasses and is treated as she is a bother. Excuse me staff, but I drop a small chunk of change into their practice every year as we require contacts and glasses. I have great insurance as well. I just talked to a staff member a few min ago on phone, rude, rude...rude. When I go to pick up my contacts, I am going to let them know I will just take my business elsewhere. It is sad really, I have recommended their office to everyone in our medical office over the last 8 years. Coworkers have come back talking about how rude the staff is, I have defended them too long. more

Have been long time patients of this practice.... attended appointments annually without fail.... had this year's appointments given away due to ridiculous recall system.... loved my doctor, but even that doesn't make me want to stay...will find another Dr. today! more

This is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced by a so-called professional. The staff is rude, unprofessional and condensending. They make it clear that they are motivated by money. Never once have they shown any concern for my vision or well-being. I have been a patient for over 2 years - only because it was the only provider in town my insurnace would approve. The staff only cares about money. Never once have I been asked if I have any vision problems. They repeatedly billed my former insurance even though I told them I no longer had insurance. When they found out I was unemployed they were extremely rude and kept demanind to know if I was able to pay. I told them that I wouldn't be making an appt if I couldn't pay. But I refuse to pay this much money and be treated like crap. Take your business to Walmart and Dr. Price. It is cheaper and a lot nicer. more

Hancock Eye Associates has been in the community a long time. The business is family owned and they treat all there customers with kindness and respect. The staff is great and well trained. The Doctors are also great and they are also very trustworthy. The price is a little higher than if you went to a discount eye chain but I think the convenience and expertise of the doctors is worth the higher price. more
