The people that run this establishment come down from the north every year. It is one of the best experiences in all of South Miami. You cannot go wrong here. \r \r Everything just taste so fresh. Our family has been here many many times. This establishment is a gem. \r \r Also check out the fruit and spice park located in the area. The park frequently gives out free samples of fruit grown in the park. more

Everything made here is delicious. My favorite's are the sticky buns and the ice cream. The shakes are great and the produce is fresh. I love Knaus Berry Farm! more

Just make sure you bring some wipes! Between the strawberry picking and the hot cinnamon rolls, our friend's children were sticky, happy, hyper messes. However it must be pointed out that they were completely silenced by their first bites of said sticky delights, in fact, we all were. All conversation stopped and we simply grinned between bites of pink centered fruit and yeasty buns. I don't know why people aren't also raving about the (cheap) delicious coffee and the chocolate/sour cream cake. Where else can you find a good cup for $1? The staff are also so happy, warm and calm. It's like they know their food is not just delicious, but good for the soul as well. Well worth the drive from Boca, just try to get there before the bicycles arrive en masse. more

The only bad thing about Knaus Berry Farm is that it's only open from November to April! The cinnamon rolls and strawberry shakes are well worth the trek to the Redlands. more

Mom & I love the strawberry milkshakes & sticky cinnamon bun 3/6/2010

This place is located right across the street from where my mother Lucille went to school. They even have their annual reunion there every year. :D It is something nice that we both enjoy, getting a big strawberry milkshake which we split (I bring an extra cup for my portion.) We always buy the cinnamon sticky buns for my sons. They have a lot of fresh baked goods, tomatoes, squash, bellpeppers, onions...& beautiful flowers. The people are friendly & it's a nice area. We love when they're open. Pros: best cinnamon buns around Cons: it can add up more

I first came to know Knaus when I attended Redland Middle School. There hasn't been a season that I haven't bought cinnamon rolls or a shake or fresh bread or pies or brownies... Not to mention the fresh and beautiful produce! When in Homestead, get lost a little and stop by Knaus! more

AMAZING STICKY BUNS 1/15/2009

There is no place I like better than Knaus Berry Farm. I have been going there with my family since I was 4 years old, and we always bring back sticky buns for our neighbors. Im 15 now, and I still go there every other month during the strawberry season with my daughter and enjoy everything they have to offer. Their shakes are amazing, and made with the freshest ingredients. Their little grocery stand also has fresh fruits and veggies and sometimes you can even go and pick your own strawberries. I definitely think this place is great for the family and kids will love the sticky buns and always want more! Pros: amazing sticky buns, fruit, veggies Cons: not open all year round!!! :) more

Over the years, I know Knaus Berry Farm for two items... the worlds BEST strawberry milkshakes, and delicious cinnamon rolls. Owned and operated by Dunkers, this farm/produce stand/bakery is a local landmark. They're open seasonally from late fall through the spring. Lines can be quite long, but well worth it. They have other baked goods and a variety of locally grown produce. more

A First-Rate Bakery! 12/4/2007

Knaus Berry Farm is considered a quaint scenic tourist stop, because of the German Baptist Knaus family who still owns and operates it. But it?s really worth a visit on its own merits as a bakery. The cinnamon rolls are famous, but the breads and rolls are truly not to be missed! For updated information on hours of operation, and even what?s being baked fresh each day, check out this blog from one of the bakers: w w w (dot) tiffanyblitz (dot com) /knausberryfarmmenu (the system doesn't like links!). Pros: Atmosphere, fresh baked goods, fresh produce, fresh fruit milkshakes Cons: Long lines on Saturday (but worth it!) more
