Now that Crate and Barrel, Sur La Table, and Williams-Sonoma are all a part of Portland's retail fabric, I'm afraid Kitchen Kaboodle is going to have a hard time competing, especially at its locations out in the suburbs. But the NW Portland store is a wonderful place to shop and register, and I hope that urban Portlanders will continue to get all of their kitchen gear here (or at the NE Broadway location). They really do have just about everything, at competitive prices, plus upstairs is a nice home furnishings showroom. It all feels very Crate & Barrel-esque, but once again it's locally owned and your dollars will trickle back into the Pacific NW economy. They have free parking back behind the store.
