Best

Had my gf 25th birthday at kiss and couldn't be more please. Since we were a large group i called in advance and spoke to christian the client relations manager. He set me up with...

Worst

I've never been to kiss and fly...but from these reviews..everyone keeps talking about how hot the waiters and waitresses are. can someone please tell me about the crowd instead?

junk food nightclub 1/22/2008

This is like a Burger King in a world of Four Seasons. This was just plain gross. Music WHACK! Staff RUDE RUDE RUDE. Waitresses were in the bathroom doing god knows what more then they were on the floor working. Staff was dressed by Abercrombie and Fitch! Please. I think the bottles were filled with something other then the Vodka we ordered. Maybe Georgi? Pros: Nice lights Cons: anything you could do wrong, they did more

Not that bad. But pretty bad 1/22/2008

Lets not get too carried away. The place is "so-so". not what it was imagined to be. A replacement for Pink Elephant it is not. Not even close. its recycled. The interior is georgeous. The staff is well dressed, who cares though? The doormen, totally rude and euro. You don't expect that? Bottle service was eay to get. If you flash the black card, your getting a table here. Its prety eay as they are not selling tables so easily. Its meat head district, I mean packing. So expect a VERY big Bridge and Tunnel crowd( ie: Jersey boys and buble gum girls and a lot of fake tans) Not a euro feel. A Long Island Feel. So you get that too. Overall, good to go to once, I dont think I would go back again and I certainly dont anticipate going there for the real upscale european style vibe I was thinking I was going to get. Pros: Easy to get into. No lines. Not very "popular" Cons: Ugly crowd. Fake tans,. Bumblegum girls. JERSEY more

Sensational!!! 1/15/2008

Talk about a breath of fresh air to the new york club scene. The place involves dramatic columns with the mystical roman style interior...the lights are i feel the best in the city along with the show that accompanys it women on stilts, fog machine, energetic dancing bartenders, bongo players, flame throwers, hey the drinks arent cheap but well worth every penny. I'm european and thought the music was phenomenal ibiza slash ultra lounge style. Totally recommend the place!!! Pros: Music, Energy, hot crowd, Great show, unique style room Cons: none more

Kiss and Fly 1/7/2008

This place is amazing!! The night i went there, there were these dancing girls on stilts and someone who was dancing with fire! It was crazy and not like your typical club. Im not sure what the other poster is talking about. I got in really easy. Doorman was super nice. But then again, i'm a model and i came with 7 of my girlfriends with my agency. Great place! We decided girls night out is at Kiss and Fly on Fridays!! Pros: beautiful people, entertainment, drinks! Cons: nothing more

Kiss and run! 1/5/2008

I am shocked, because I was so excited for this club to open, and it's a big disappointment. The doorman doesn't know anyone, he has no idea how things work in the NYC nightlife. The place, though nicely set up, looks very cheap. It looks like its made out of cardboard. The crowd was bad, and in my opinion a new club in the meatpacking should be packed with a good-looking and well-dressed crowd. The music was also horrrible. They played rhythm is a dancer!!! I advise you to kiss and run!!! Pros: none Cons: where do I start? more

Bottle service and reservations are the way of things at Kiss & Fly, a nightclub with a European art-nouveau feel in Aer's old location.

Owner Message
  • Since December 2007, Kiss & Fly has been catering to the jet set crowd, bringing a unique lifestyle destination to Manhattan. Kiss & Fly is an unprecedented nightclub that combines extraordinary d?cor with an unbeatable sound system and world renowned DJs. The d?cor mixes Roman accents with modern lighting and d?cor to create a beautiful elegant atmosphere. Each night at Kiss & Fly starts of as a lounge with soft jazz music and slowly transitioning into a nightclub complete with 250 strobe lights and high energy Euro house music. This 5,000 square foot hotspot has a 500 person capacity and is laid out to accommodate events of all sizes.

Editorial
  • Though a reservation at Kiss & Fly (formerly club Aer) may not guarantee you'll be speedily whisked inside, it should garner some attention from the league of security personnel at the door--themselves busy wrangling a crush of tall Europeans vying for entry. Inside, a curved, elevated bar and banquettes create the illusion of a sunken dance floor, along with ample seating and a vantage point from which to see and be seen--provided the overeager smoke machine allows. For those seeking access to the roped-off VIP area, bottle service is the name of the game, while de facto VIPs enthrone themselves inside the curving dome (known as the Temple) just off the dance floor.

Hits: The art nouveau-inspired decor beckons dancers to the table-tops and lends the space an aura of indulgence and free-wheeling decadence.

Misses: Should you need a break from the thudding international dance music, your only options are to shiver on the smoker's veranda or take refuge in the restroom.
