I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kathy Lewis!!! I had a 5 year old Rottweiler, Max, that became very ill. Dr. Lewis did EVERYTHING she could do for him. He had Nasal Lymphoma that spread to his brain. Dr. Lewis made Max and I both very comfortable. My husband and I made the unfortunate decision to euthanize Max on Friday morning as there was no treatment for him at that stage. \r Thank You Dr. Lewis for all you did for Max!! more

failed to help my dying cat 6/9/2011

My cat had become very sick overnight. she was not moving, eating, drinking water, and it looked like she got hit by a car. i took her to kingston springs animal hospital. they did x rays, took her temp, and checked her out. they DID NOT take a blood sample. sent her home with fluids, pain meds, and antibiotics and told to come back tomorrow if she hadnt eaten. she didnt eat, laid all night, couldnt even stand. took her back the next day and they tried emergency care on her including taking a BLOOD sample which showed she had acute RENAL FAILURE. THIS WOULD HAVE SHOWN UP THE DAY BEFORE HAD THEY DONE THE ROUTINE BLOOD SAMPLING. which means she could have been helped the day before. but instead- my poor little girl cat died. more

Wonderful Experience for mother and 4 legged Child!!! 5/7/2008

I had a family emergency in Dallas and received a call on Wednesday morning. I was in a panic after calling my normal boarding place (Pet Resorts) and was told that my dogs shots were past due and they would not board him. Being new to the area, I frantically called all around town trying to find a vet to give him his shots so that I could board him for the remainder of the week. NO ONE had an opening and my last call was to Kingston Springs Animal Hospital. When the receptionist answered the phone she was very friendly and heard my tone of voice and told me she would fit me in anytime. I thought that was going past her call of duty. Once I arrived for my appointment I was welcomed with open arms as if I had been there before. I only had to wait about 10 minutes before my dog was given his shots. The receptionist told me that since he was ""family now"" he was more than welcome to board at their facility. I was no longer in a panic mode. He stayed and seemed to love it. Within that month he has stayed two other times and the experience was wonderful for all of us. I would highly recommend this place to other animal owners!!!! Oh and the vet actually called me at home that night to check on his status - that is un heard of!!! Pros: Friendly and accomdating staff, short wait time (if any), reasonable prices Cons: None that ever came to mind! more

Great Home Away from Home for My Pets 2/27/2006

It is a pure joy to take my 3 doggies to the KSAH. They are very polite, professional & truly care about our pets. They have waited for me when I was stuck in traffic, offered to do things that no other ""big city clinic"" would ever do. For years, we went to PetMed. But I always waited, sometimes for hours and it was very expensive. And I never saw the same doctor more than once. It's not that it didn't work for us, but I had no idea how nice it was going to be to have ""small town"" care and help. The last time I had my dog's teeth cleaned; I picked him up as they were closing. He had been behind the counter with all the girls just flirting and having a ball. I LOVE this clinic! And its very clean! Jessica Ford Pros: No waiting, Great Prices, Personalized Care Cons: None so far more

Rude receptionists! 2/20/2005

I have gone to Kingston Springs Animal Hospital for years and have always been happy. Over the past year, however, several new staff members have been added. The new receptionists are very rude and unprofessional. I recently called on a Saturdayand told the receptionist that my dog had been hit by a car and was on my way. I was told that ""You better be here by 12 because we close at 12."" I will only continue to go to this clinic because I like the veterinarians and vet techs so much. Pros: very inexpensive, great veterinarians Cons: rude receptionists more
