Read reviews on this site and rode from Hampton Va. to give it a try. While good, this is not the vinegar based pulled pork BBQ that I grew up eating in the Red Springs area of NC. I'm still searching for that taste. Pros: Clean, Fast Service Cons: Small Portions more

Simple - BUT THE BEST! 11/24/2008

King's BBQ - - simple - good - NC style - vinegar sauce the best. Had BBQ ""everywhere"" - but nothing beats the ""toasted"" buns and taste of the BBQ. I've NEVER had any gristle or fat - just pure minced BBQ. My only disappointment...when I've driven there and it's closed@! But I'll always go back for more! Pros: Nothing tastes better Cons: Not always open more

Good down home barbecue and wonderful service 9/28/2006

We drive from Short Pump to Petersburg often to get some of the best barbecue on earth. Good service, cheap prices, good food. I have lived all over the south and west and I think King's is one of the best places for barbecue. Not a fancy place just a good place for good barbecue. Pros: good food good service Cons: not fancy more
